I wonder if @jari17 still exists, if so I hope he's holding up after seeing Tanganga in the first team.

Anyone else remember him?

Tanganga is awful
I can only go by what I've seen today and he has been nothing short of awful. His positioning is awful, he cost us a goal, bad decision making, he can't attack. I can go on
Not one player in this U21 will make it at Spurs
;)

One player who has benefited from all the talk about Troy Parrott is Kion Etete and the reason why it has allowed him to move to Spurs get himself settled down with no pressure on him what so ever because everyone has been talking about Troy Parrott all the time and rightly so.

Kion Etete is a good player in his own right and he is a better player now than when he first joined us and he is starting to impress a lot of people with how he is playing right now.

He may not be in the same bracket as say a Troy Parrott but there is a lot to like about him as a player and it is going to be very interesting to see what he does over the next few years because he is improving all the time and he should be playing for the u23s.

Absolutely agree. I've been bigging up Kion since he came in on trial. So much to like. I like him even more than Rio Griffiths, who I was also a big fan of. Griffiths was a powerful forward who scored a lot of goals but wasn't the most technical and definitely had a limited link-up game. Kion doesn't score as many goals but his touch, movement and link-up is tons better than Rio's. The biggest factor is that I think Kion is a Mourinho type forward. Parrott, at the moment, isn't.

Question for anybody who has watched any of our u18s and below this year, what player has impressing you the most and what player do you want to see more of?

I have been impressed with Max Robson of late because he is getting more confident and physically he is a lot stronger and he is a player that can do well over the next few years.

The player I want to see more of is Jordan Hackett who played LB last week but I am not sure if he is a LB or not, he looks a highly intelligent player and add to that he looks a very good passer of the ball and I did walk away from that game wanting to see more of him because he looks like he could be a very good player.

Not so sure about Etete not scoring as much he seems to score virtually every game he plays. I’m actually a little bit surprised we haven’t seen him training with seniors yet I’d imagine he’s exactly what Mourinho is looking for.

Kinda of worried for Skipp . No news of a loan for Skipp . He might follow KWP path if he still stays on with no games or loan

Still have every faith in Skipp but he does need to be playing matches right now, if he does not go out on Loan this window then loan him out for the season next year and start playing him in the u23s now because he needs to be playing.

Send him on loan to Fulham and let Scott Parker work with him.

Imagine being 19 and in the middle of a cold bleak British winter you get offered a contract in Majorca. Good times!

His big brother Sam is there too. Could be worth loan spells.

Agree about Skipp needing a loan. Half a season in the Championship would not harm him I think.

Griffiths scored more than he had played for the U18s (I think across all seasons it was something like 38 goals in 37 games) and apparently Etete has 5 goals in 10 this season.

The worry for me is he is he has played fuck all U23 games. We really need to find Tracey a new club, Play Richards wide and give Etete more game time at that level IMO.

Did a trawl online, couldn't see a mention of it. If it was a transfer out you'd think it would of been leaked so hopefully just a loan.

I'll be extremely miffed if he's off permanently. Personally, I feel its a bit soon for a loan but if he does head out here's hoping that he does really well and catches Mourinho's attention. The lad is a seriously good footballer.

Etete looks every bit the 6'5 transfermarkt lists him as. If he does indeed have good touch and link up play as mentioned in an earlier post, he could be a real talent.

He was on the bench and came on when Kane was fit. He got his full international debut over Idah who has already played 90 minutes for Norwich and got a Hatrick. The other night you had Cirkin on the bench over him with Skipp and Dier there. It’s clearly obvious something has happened and this is not a football decision. I did also post that he was in white socks at the end of November and now has gone back to long blue. Quite surprised no press stories have leaked out what’s going on.
Alright, I'll bite. What significance does wearing blue socks mean? I'm clearly missing something.
