He hasn't played in their last 5 games and doesn't appear to be injured.
He's been completely frozen out since Michael O'Neill came in as manager in early November, he was playing most games up until then.

I gave up on CCV after the Wycombe game in the last season at WHL, I know the whole team played terribly for most of that game but he really stood out in a bad way. A young player who gets outpaced by Paul Hayes and Bayo Akinfenwa cannot possibly make it at the highest level.

Foyth can't even get a game so chances are we're looking to sell or loan CCV out again
Well Foyth cant get a game for a reason. He cannot stop making catastrophic mistakes when on the pitch. Its a huge problem because our other 2 experiences CB options are finished at this level. We should be giving Tanganga a chance at this point.

Just curious, how does Jack Clarke compare to Daniel James in terms of development?

Prior to ManU getting him , Leeds were hot on James but never got him. James been one of ManU most impressive players this season.

CCV should be given a chance. He looks like the kinda of CB Jose likes, big strong and physical non nonsense hoof it clear kind.

Least with CCV we might not have to worry about him trying to dribble out of trouble. Be a good help at defending set plays with his size.

As I understand, he's a unit but not tall for a centre half. He also lacks pace so I don't see how he's better than comparable centre backs his age like Sanchez and Foyth.

Stoke Fans was happy when they announced is CCV coming back to us. Looks like he didn't impress at loan in 4 clubs? I don't think he has any future with Tottenham.

he did well at ipswich and swansea, both would have been happy to keep him but couldn't afford it.

don't think anyone here(either in this thread or the site as a whole) has seen enough of clarke to comment. he wasn't an england youth regular until recently either and that's where a lot of us see players at that age from other clubs. hopefully we can sort out a better loan for him in january, along with a few others who could really do with some game time.

bring them all back apart from Roles and Amos and then find a permanent home for a lot of them players because we still need a clearout.

Would be a good way of getting a bit of cash together to go in the transfer kitty

So anyone want to do the academy team of the decade as everyone is doing something along those lines and I'm bored.

My criteria is it would be those that you saw play for us at an u19 age group. So should generally capture when top players were at their peak before declining due to poor handling. It also means, while I personally rate them as two of the best academy players I've seen I wouldn't include TOB and Kirby as they were either not playing for us then or weren't performing as well then. Hope that makes sense. Similarly, I wouldn't necessarily include a late developer, i.e. someone that really started to perform at u21 level, however you're welcome to include them if you think they were THAT good at u19 level. I'll do my team from memory, but I'm sure there's a possibility I may change it once I see other posters remind me of players that have left.

Do what ever formation you fancy.
----------------Archer
KWP - Tanganga - Veljkovic - Cirkin
---------Onomah - Skipp-------------
Oduwa-------Edwards---------Pritchard
----------------Kane-------------------

--------------------------Archer----------------
---------------Eyoma - Tanganga - Ogilvie
KWP-------------------Veljkovic---------------------Cirkin
----------------Onomah--------Pritchard----------
-------------------------Edwards---------------------
--------------------------Kane-----------------------

Subs: Austin, Hinds, Binks, White, Skipp, Bentaleb, Parrott

Rough subs bench, I'll tidy mine up once I see what other players I may be missing that deserve consideration

Don't know why I've done two. Ogilvie, Cirkin, Brown and Tsaroulla are all top LBs. I had put Binks in there but replaced him with Ogilvie at LCB. Could probably put him in there.

Parrott v Kane probably seen a lot more of Parrott at u18s but remember Kane being class and u18s but then so is Parrott so

Ye we've shelled a lot of talent. Funnily enough Kane prob not the best in the team, though they are very good teams.

Soo many more players missing like the Shashouas, Bennetts, Markanday, Winks, Miller, BLF, CCV.

Actually CCV can feel hard done by esp as he made u20 WC TOTT at 17

Lol, I finished laying out my two best line-ups only to realise there was loads of players from over a decade ago. That was both embarrassing and extremely traumatising. My first youth game was 17 years ago. Damn, I'm getting old.
