City had Doyle and Garcia that played U23 and carabo. Liverpool had a load obviously enhanced by Carabo. But still fact that players aren’t deemed to good to play both. Even more bizarre is it’s ok for Parrott to play UYL but not U23.

Even though I'm as puzzled as you are there just has to be a sensible reason. I'd love to know the answer to Poch's thought process on youth development.

Do not say this often but we played OK and our two best players was Markanday who played like Markanday of last year and was very good throughout the match.

Shashoua was the other player who impressed on the night and on another day he could have scored two goals.

Playing with no striker is crazy.

How was Bowden ? Been pretty unimpressed this season.

Incredible to think TOB was holding his own with Foden Sancho Hudson in the WC winning team in fact one of the best players. Moving him to senior limbo zone absolutely destroyed him.

I can’t believe these players hang around. No chance of actual professional football. Those that stay must be happy in their comfort zones. Do we really want that kind of player at the club?

Well when Edwards was being offered contracts elsewhere and didnt want to commit unless he believed he would get game time, he was labelled as a trouble maker who didnt know how good he had it under Poch. So its lose lose really.

Apparently someone reckons Tanganga ain't playing as he wont sign a contract. Wouldnt surprise me but then do I think hed play if he did sign anyway, of course not. So nothing to lose on his end

Which games did you think he looked particularly average in

All the UYL games. Actually thought he was the worst player in the 9-2. A couple of other games can’t remember the opponents. So about 5 times this season just not really been impressed.

When the manager has shown to not really play youth and now still not giving them a chance when the seniors dont give a shit, I dont blame him. I wouldnt sign on either.

Seem to recall reading that Spurs turned down £1.5m for TOB from a Championship club. Maybe not fair to blame the players. Spurs have a long track record of bullying youngsters into renewing contracts to ensure they maximise profit on them.

Bullying is a strong word, I prefer blackmail.

Not just youngsters. Skip to about 22 minutes in.

He is just stating the obvious in the video not offering any real insight. The players have refused to sign contracts thus they have the power now and not the club. Its all boils down to money and Spurs have a rigid wage structure making it hard to compete.

Don't get me wrong the supposed 250k a week we offered Eriksen is competitive but he sees Ramsey getting 400k a week at Juventus and thinks fuck it I will wait. The error here is Levy or perhaps Poch seemingly caught in two minds. No signing of contract and they should have been sold a year or so ago to avoid this situation. But maybe they wanted their services for that time and thought it might work sadly it has not as Eriksen and to a lesser extent Toby and Jans performances have dropped to a point that you couldn't sell them even if you wanted to.

All a bit of a sorry situation but in this day an age the footballer has the power.
