And can you imagine the quality? Do you think there are quality keepers currently unattached. Would be some 40 year old
I imagine we would take an emergency loan. A loan not a free transfer. I'm sure there is a decent 2nd/3rd keeper somewhere in Europe that could do a job.

I mean I like Austin but would be a big ask at this level.

oluwayemi; lyons-foster, walcott, binks, cirkin; bowden, oakley-boothe, white; markanday, bennett, richards

subs: lo-tutala, lusala, muir, pedder, pochettino, maghoma, robson

we need to better red star's result against olympiacos to go through, if we lose we're out.

poor half, 1-0 down.

kind of funny that as it stands we're going to finish behind a team we beat 9-2.

I think Bayern are very good and could well win it. Got to say every time I’ve seen Pochettino jnr he’s looked really good this season. Be interesting if he stays.

Anyone heard of Jarrad Branthwaite at Carlisle 17 yr old CB. Just caught the end of the EFL show had a clip of him looks special just played 6 times.

Decent projected potential for a 17 year old, lots of room for dynamic potential to kick in, very cheap - solid career mode signing. ?

Given my home location I took the opportunity to watch Man City U23 v Spurs U23, with the intention of getting back to watch Wolves v Spurs. Some days you have just got to laugh! I asked a security guy outside the Man City academy stadium (10,000 + capacity) what the procedure was to get in. He told me to get a ticket from ticket office(where else!). The lady said that will be £8.50, which I thought was a bit steep for an U23 game. She responded by saying it's not the U23 game but Man City women v Brighton women. I was told finally that the reserve game was being played on a training pitch and that attendance was strictly limited to relatives and close associates of the teams. I thought 'bloody hell this is ridiculous'. I was about to trudge off home but thought bollocks lets try and get in. Well at the metal gates, 4 security men (with scanners) and a man with a list of registered attenders at a table awaited me. The secret here was bluffing and confidence. So I waited until a party off 7 family members surrounded the man at the table who was ticking their names off the registered list so I went round them and up to the man who was doing the scanning. He was a little flustered as I raised my arms to be scanned which he duly did but he noticed that I did not have a wrist band given to all entrants. 'Let me help you there' as he proceeded to attach a yellow band (for away family visitors) to my wrist. I was in! I felt like the hero from the film 'Team America' who had to use his acting skills to infiltrate arab terrorists. All this for a reserve game! City you are ridiculous!
Anyway to the game. Judging players on one game is a bit pointless so bear with me. The result 0-2 with City deserving it. Tanganga and Binks(very good) were Spurs standouts. Unfortunately Hinds(RB) and White(LB - never a full back for goodness sake!) were a real weakness. Oakley-Boothe, Maghoma and Shashoua were classy but really did not create enough in midfield. The real problem was the powder puff forward line of Markanday, Richards and Patterson. Nice footballers but physically (pace and power) they really don't cut it.
Got back in time for Spurs v Wolves - great 2-1 win.
