If you don’t beat teams like Wolves at home then I don’t see how we will pick up many points at all. We could get dragged into a relegation scrap quite easily. Some may say “we’re too good for that” I don’t think we are
We are only 8pts clear of wolves and 10 clear of the relegation zone.

If we lose our next 3 (very possible) I’d start to hope Harry Redknapp is still open to work to save us again!!!

How do we get 11 more points?
What are you saying? That we are not getting any more points from our remaining games?
I was just pointing out that we are just as close to the top four as we are the bottom three.
So how are we going to get more points? the same way the teams below us and above us get points.

We managed 11 points in our last 10 games (5 in the last 7 even). As long as that form holds on i can not see the point looking that far up the table and rather be concerned whats below us.

Agree if kulu scores the 1 on 1 we win the game. Watching the game I thought the 1st half was much better, there was high intensity. Second half we dropped off but still created chances. We defended well up to the goal.

Maddison did nothing when he came on

on another point, how was that not a foul on Johnson for their 1st goal
Yep think we were easily the better team in the first half when we were playing with intensity and we needed to take our chances. Second half we couldn’t maintain the intensity as we have a squad running on fumes, in a game where we needed energy Maddison doesn’t provide a lot and think Bergvall would have been a much better move.

Bigger picture. We are drifting as a club and the ‘promised land’ of CL and the new stadium was a lie.
What bigger picture? Do we have better players than Wolves, Forest, and all……. Yes we do. We should be beating them. Levy is the guy that bought these players who are hell lot better than other teams players. Why are we shipping goals left right and everywhere, I thing the answer is blatantly obvious right now.

And the kicker is we got beat by a manager who we all said was shite…… u honestly couldn’t make it up.

And 11 points from fourth and only 7 points behind Manchester City. Or are you only looking down?
Why are u comparing us to City? They are having a mare of a season. So many fans saying all is good……. We’re having a shite season, and the thing is we have good players. I’m not an Ange out person yet, but he needs to sharpen up, and do it damn fast.

They are currently the team in 5th place. No comparisons being made. It could be S****horpe for all I care. The comparison is the points gap which is virtually the same from 5th place and 18th place.
We do have to sharpen up to move up the table, which when we get some players back I think we will.
The same way the 18th place club currently Leicester (no comparisons being made) have to gain 11 points on us.

U either look at the game from a table point of view or a visual point of view. We are playing turd at the minute. Absolute joke, conceding 2-3 goals a game. If we were top of the table right now I’d still say we were playing turd and I is on Ange’s style of play. I like him but he is as naive as fuck at times.

You asked why I was comparing us to Manchester City. I have explained that I wasn’t. 👍🏻

I agree that we have spent rather a lot over the years, I think 4th or 5th highest spenders maybe? But in all intense and purposes it’s mostly overpaying on mid range (potential sell on value) assets.
If we bought well once, instead of multiple “potentials” that rarely amount to anything more than what we paid, we may well would have had a far different trajectory in our fortunes.
The squad as of today is a result of the managerial revolving door. A mish mash and no coherence.
Hence we have always had trouble clearing the decks and getting the top targets we need (if reports are to be believed).
Unfortunately all roads still lead to Mr Levy.
Hate to pick you up on your grammar there, young squire but it's actually 'intense and porpoises' 👍

I used to be a BSoDL, for a long time. I'd write detailed, passionate posts on here about impatient fans and the growth of the club and the importance of the new stadium etc. About how one day we'd see the fruits of Levy's plans and compete at the top and finally be rewarded with some form of sustained success.

That was a long time ago.

If after all this time and evidence you still genuinely believe that Levy is interested in the club being successful and winning things, and not simply in the most efficient way to achieve long term value growth of his asset portfolio, then there's nothing more I can do to help you my friend.
If Levy sacking a manager renowned for winning cup finals the game before a cup final doesn't tell someone how little he cares about winning, nothing will!

You mean the manager who had turned on the players, lost the dressing room and was apparently trying to get sacked to protect his CV?

I'd say that we are shipping goals at the minute because we only have 1 fit CB in Draagusin. And even he was carrying a knock yesterday. We also have a 38 year old GK and an 18 year old midfielder playing at CB. The injury list is shocking at the minute and until we get a few players back or sign some replacements from Wednesday onwards, then don't be expecting our defensive record to improve anytime soon.

Yep only looking down based on our injuries and form mate, we can’t beat wolves at home and have an 18yr old and possibly no other CB’s, a back up goalie, back up LB, best CM suspended and Newcastle, Arsenal and Everton away up next!

IMO definitely the best thing going for Ange during this crisis is that the players seem to be behind him which is testament to him. I don’t think you could say the same thing with Conte and Jose. When you lose the players there’s not much you can do really so I can certainly see the logic in sticking with Ange until that happens (hopefully it doesn’t obviously).

Definitely. Always two nails in the coffin, first the fans, then the players.

Not sure the first nail is all the way in yet and the second doesn’t appear close at all.

I disagree.

I’ve posted this before and got slated for it but that hasn’t changed my mind at all.

Levy needs to feel some heat from our fanbase. Him and his family need to feel threatened any time they come near N17. He needs to be given the message that he is no longer welcome in the lovely new stadium that he has built.

It needs to get ugly but unfortunately our fans are, on the whole, a bunch of pussies.
Here's the thing, I like going to the game, it's what I do, it's my fun, has been week in week out for 60 years, why the fuck would I not do it just because you've got the bleeding hump?
