You mean that 30 odd million pound CB that Bayern Munich wanted? That one? The one that probably cost more than any of the Wolves CBs. We’re not playing Real Madrid mate. It’s Wolves.
That £30m CB who’s been a bit disappointing and now has a strapped up ankle and would be partnering an 18 year old midfielder.

Don’t particularly have any confidence in this one, crowd will be flat and our team looks dead on their feet with no confidence.

I don’t think he’s been disappointing, I wouldn’t say he’s been pulling up any trees either but each to their own.

Well if he’s fit he’s fit. If he wasn’t he wouldn’t be in contention to play. Or at least you’d hope so wouldn’t you but Chelsea is still fresh in my mind and I hope it’s still in Ange’s mind too and he’s not taking any unnecessary risks. Far better to lose this game playing Dorrington than Dragusin picking up a nasty injury because he was rushed back. I can understand the pressure Ange in under, though. He needs to win this game and if the risk of Dragusin getting injured is higher than normal it is a risk worth taking as it keeps him in a job. Not saying he definitely gets sacked if we lose today but writing will be on the wall big time.

Reasons for optimism:

1. Wolves have won two on the bounce, so Tottenham logic suggests they will lose
2. The sheer amount of defensive injuries might see Ange look to provide a bit more cover for whoever plays there
3. Some kids might get game time and be untainted by our recent struggles
4. We can’t get much worse surely

Reasons for pessimism:

1. Wolves are now well organised and may not be sucked into a toe to toe game which seems to be our only way of winning
2. Defensive injuries might see square pegs in round holes rather than trust the likes of Dorrington
3. Regulars are shattered physically and mentally and Ange won’t deviate from the 15 or so he picks from
4. Midfield is all over the place at the moment

That ‘make or break’ moment feels like it’s getting ever closer - would love to see Alfie start, some youngsters get decent minutes, he’ll even Reggie start to save Destiny breaking (name of a spurs related PS5 game?)

COYS, Come on Ange, let’s make 2025 a year to be remember for the right reasons and let’s start that now!!

So no Dragusin

If this is the case, I’d like to see Dorrington start. I also feel fans will have more patience with Ange if we’re using our injuries to give opportunities to deserving youngsters.

Nowhere to hide if he starts Bissouma at CB and it goes badly.

I know, and I also know saying my diet starts on Wednesday means that it will be May before I stop shoving chocolates in my mouth!!

No time like the present/once I’ve finished the kid’s selection box

I’ll never forget my son turning around to me when we were 5-0 down against Newcastle after 20 mins and saying, with a tear in his eye, “do I have to support spurs dad” Yes you fucking do you little prick. Character building.

My son is 1 month old today.

He’s been on my lap for each game this month. And God knows I’m not going to let him off today either.

I was forced into a life of misery. So he can go through it too.

At least Dragusin has made it.

Pretty sterdy midfield selection there, Son starting again is a bit disappointing but COYS.
