What has a striker got to do with not being able to defend? Sick of this lame excuse. We scored two today and should've scored more, so striker has got nothing to do with it. We have players incapable of pressing effectively as a team, incapable of defending as a team.

We have a lot of thick players who now don’t understand how to play because the coach has no clue what he’s doing either. Rudderless ship, which is sinking fast.

If Levy has anything about him he'll realize he made a mistake and cut the loss with Mourinho in the summer. We need to go back to the progressive approach he initiated with AVB and Pochettino with good success. This cannot last.

Can’t stand winks. So overrated. Not good enough for a top 4 aspiring team. Need more from the player in that position

People here aren't appreciating the devastating consequences financially of missing out on Europe. No CL or Europa means a 100 million pound loss of revenue compared to last season! How are you going to rebuild this squad with that kind of revenue drain?

Mourinho won't last next season unless he moves certain players who have market value, but clearly aren't contributing at a high level. To start with Winks, Dele, Dier should be the core of sales this summer. That, plus a couple others, should give you enough to bring in 2-3 players of similar quality to Bergwijn/Lo Celso.

If Mourinho thinks he's going to just sell marginal players like Wanyama, Rose, etc, while starting the likes of Davies, Dele, Winks every single week, he'll be potentially out of job by November.
General **** bag should of been doing that whilst the money was rolling in then

Gotta laugh, we had possession football today and lost ...

It's all the players fault, every player thread on fire with fans filled with rage because they paid good money to watch a game of football while posting on an internet forum telling everyone how enraged they are ...

Imagine getting dragged down into the relegation dog fight - I'd imagine the stadium would end up being empty ...

Thursday nights next season, if we're lucky enough, could be dead. The rage would still be there though.

Should of brought in Howe.

even a blind squirrel finds the odd nut. he's shite and causes nothing but grief in the defence. picking the ball up while it was in play case in point. He's fucking loco

Didn't he also scored a banging goal and put a couple of decent crosses in? I don't think he's good enough to be our starting RB but give credit where its due.

Because he marshalled us to being the best defense in the Premier League.
Because he went an entire year without a loss at home.
Because he took us from disarray with Tactics Tim and gave us our pride back.
Because with a tiny bit more luck, investment or time, he'd have bought trophies home to us.
Because when things weren't going well, he didn't stop attacking and going for glory.
Because he took us to the Champions League Final.
Because he was our best manager since Burkinshaw.
Because he was a man of honour, integrity, and bullishness. He was one of us.
Because we've done him a total disersive by sacking him in favour of this immature, petulant, egotistical harbinger of fool's gold who will never, ever, ever be a Yid.
He also didnt want to be here in the end and this is why we got beat 7 - 2 at home and a lot of other shite results.

I have no great desire to defend Mourinho but he can’t be blamed for most of that. Our defenders and keeper were horrific.

Players let him and themselves down.

Mate vinny’s life is the picture of positivity bitching about everyone on here, don’t let him rile you

regarding the match on a plus side Wolves probably have a better chance than us of knockinh chelsea off 4th, every match is a struggle for us without a striker and DM.

I heard Davies saying in an interview that the players haven’t yet understood what the manager wants. Only 100
Days in charge. Just think where we will be after another hundred? Just ask Chelsea or ManU fans and they will tell you ... after they stop laughing at you

Do brilliant managers also not win an away game in the league for over an year? It also helps brilliant managers when they have a full squad.

It wasn't over a year. But you know what, if Jose doesn't win an away game the rest of this season but beats his German opposition in the R16 by four goals, knocks out the favourites and takes us to the UCL final again, I'll take that. The squad needed a refresh. But it sucks so much that when we finally had some kind of money in the summer to invest, Poch only got literally a couple of months to work with it after years of not just dragging some players who weren't the most talented into the Top 4 but getting them playing brilliantly too. He deserved a hell of a lot more time. Given the months Mourinho's had I don't think we'd be doing as badly as we are right now - a mess, toothless, low-energy, passionless.
