Obviously this group needs rebuilt. Levy not getting rid of deadwood and going 18 months without fresh blood destroyed it. The real problem is..... Does anyone really want Jose in charge of this rebuild? It's too late anyway now, but I think it's going to get quite nasty between him and Levy over summer. Which of them are going to change their spots? Is Levy going to finally give a manager what he wants, even though it will cost a lot? Will Jose, who has played the same type of football his whole career and has never really had a philosophy of growing and developing young players, suddenly change if he doesn't get the players he wants?

This season obviously has sucked but I actually worry about next few seasons more, especially because our best player is almost 27 and constantly injured, and our second best player will be 28 next season.

Feels like getting to the CL final has broken the club. Worst thing that could’ve happened somehow.
How many of the players today were even in the CL final team?

Winks & Alli
And Dier and Lucas came on.

The rest either weren't here or didn't play. This has nothing to do with the CL final. We lost cos we gave away goals.

There's teams as good or bad around us in the league. Top 6 is going to be hard.

Now we got the possession advantage. So for those who said we played fucking passive and no initiative, love that?

Damn we do, damn we don't. The defenders (bar Aurier) and Winks and Dele let us down big time. They need a huge slap to wake up their senses. We didn't play poorly for most part, these fuckers did us in with so many errors and lost opportunities.

Wonder what has caused it lighty are you still going with WC burnout.

no going with a manager that plays negative football and can't get anything into his defenders about being so narrow when on the back foot. needs to play Ndombele from the start, someone that can hold onto the ball

Booting out the two decrepit Belgians was still the right call. We need to rotate between Dier, Sanchez, Foyth, Tanganga, whoever till May. If none of them step up and take the opportunity then it's on them, but lets do it whilst we're in transition and maybe we'll get surprised and avoid yet more purchases in the summer.....

Defensively though whilst trying it out we will be shaky, especially with the average as fuck fullback options and non existent shape in front of them.

As I said at HT, we had to change something as we didn't look comfortable defensively. What became a 5-2-3 didn't work at all, and we were vulnerable and getting dragged about. Individually players had to do better, but the structure was just so flimsy and looked so vulnerable there was always a danger of that happening and coming out on the wrong end of lottery bollocks football. We didn't, we got punished.

That last 15 mins though.... Not even trying to get an equaliser.... What the actual fuck.

Get use to it.... it be the same for another 12 weeks yet. May cant come soon enough
I wish I believed he'd be gone in 12 weeks, but I don't. He's at least going to get a chance to spunk all our money on crap defenders and a "striker" with the turning circle of a cruise liner and ruin next season too before Baldy realises his mistake.

Some here very much wanted us lose just to prove Mourinho suck. Pathetic.

Pathetic is what we saw out there. Stems from the management, from the coaching, from the decisions.

I agree he needs time, and he’ll get it. But there has to be a sign that things are improving. If anything that defence is getting worse.

Today was one of those games that showed how limited Winks is as a player. I like him a lot as a Spurs lad, but give him time on the ball in the final third and he shits himself.

Lucas was also a colossal waste of space. All the strength of a ruptured perineum.

We were a Top 4 team last year and the three years before that, unless you really think Trippier and Llorente were the secret ingredients the whole time. Good managers make the best of what they've got and drag it over the line in tough circumstances. Brilliant managers take a weaker squad than what we have now, drag it over the line, and take it to the Champions League Final. Relics make excuses and settle for mediocrity. His game is not about glory.

Do brilliant managers also not win an away game in the league for over an year? It also helps brilliant managers when they have a full squad.

in case anyone thinks we were hard done by - Xg had us at 1.63 vs. 2.62 for Wolves.

They were happy to cede possession knowing we wouldn't do much ( don't think the keeper had a save to make in the second half)

We were terrible after the 55th minute - and offered nothing after going behind.

Thank you Daniel Levy. We have an amazing stadium. We also now have a boring team with a old manager that will make things worse with his attitude when times get tough, no backup strikers of any worth, one recognizable RB and LB each, neither of which are any better than mid-table players, and new contracts for player over 30 and now past their prime. Great job.
Our football club is in an absolute shambles Sunday league sides are more prepared ie we have no defence and no strikers Mr Levy you have fucked it right up but unless we as fans start making a stand nothing will change because the record profits will keep coming in!!!! Harry will be gone and the happy clappers will still say we are amazing with a great new stadium. Hard to believe we were unbeaten at home at white hart lane a fortress!!! No longer we are gone it will take years to get us where we were. No players will want to come and you wouldn’t blame them, who would want to play for Daniel I fucked it up Levy!!!! He says he’s a Spurs fan please Daniel fuck off from our club one trophy under your tenure fuck right off please and take Joe with you pricks!!!

The players ain't good enough it's as simple as that. The last manager begged Levy to start the rebuild said it'll be painful virtually predicted this would happen.

That performance against Wolverhampton who played a tough European game mid week was truly poor...our game management defending was all at sea.

I've completely written the season off and to be honest If we don't get CL football it's best we don't get European football at all. Mourinho look a worried man on the touch line and will totally understand the task ahead he needs financial backing.

night and day between 1st and 2nd half.

We have so many problems that are rooted in 12 - 18 months of issues

if we miss the CL, imagine what budget we'll have - who will we sell to fund the rebuild?

I feel the issues at spurs start at the top

The only way to get that budget up is to go balls deep in the CL this season.

I'd write off League and go for the two cups. We don't have the consistency for Top 4 fight.

first half was the best we played for ages. That we concede cheap goals is nothing new to me but at least that was a step in the right direction and we tried to play a game of football.

most weeks we would have got something out of that, cant say the same about the last couple of performances,
