That goal brings me back to the good old days when we attacked as a unit. That attacking line we formed in the buildup was superb.

It's the best we've played in a while just very frustrating that after their goal we went to shit for about 10-15 mins. Thankfully we got back ahead and hopefully we can push on in the 2nd half now as we've been much the better team.

Best football we’ve played in ... months. Wolves are playing their wing backs in a flat back five. They’ve conceded too much space in midfield and, for a change, we’ve made good use of it. Pity about the five minutes of sloppiness that cost a goal.

Winks has been brilliant, dominant and dictating play. Dier immense at the back.

Our full backs though have been a worry.

We deserve to be in the lead imo. Some great counter attacking stuff, lo celso , Dele and Bergwijn all good.

Dier has been good today in defence. Sanchez disappointing. Unsure of himself and made some bad decisions.

We've been the better side- they've had one shot one goal...clearly our defence has been an issue for 12 - 18 months, but we looked almost coherent in that first half, with a more discernible pattern of play

Not that he has been playing bad, but Dier slotting in just isn’t working. We need Toby in to steady the ship.

Maybe we should just admit to ourselves that Aurier is a winger and not a right back... forget defending man.

Lots of positives in that half. The attack looks more balanced with dele finally getting into that central position more frequently

But why oh why play Dier ahead of Toby when Lloris is out and Tanganga making a rare start at CB. So many defensive problems just because these players are not used to each other in these roles

Other than our calamity defending on their goal I’m really happy about the first half
Sanchez & Tanganga partnership enables us playing a high line because they’re fast enough to catch up
Lo Celso & Winks are controlling the midfield, not Mourinho and Neves as many thought they would

For the second half we need to not make any defensive mistakes, keep control of the midfield (maybe take off Ndombele fof Dier later on) and be clinical when we get our chances

Didn't see the whole half but Winks looked good and confident (knew that he wouldn't score there though).
