Sonny for Werner feels like the only change Ange will make (mainly to let the rest atone for the aberration of the Brighton second half).

Hopefully we will get some more positive, concrete news re Son, Richy and Odebert training this week. Hopefully Son at the least will be fit enough to start Saturday.

Ugh. West Ham. A game we always should win, but rarely do. Not looking forward to this, particularly given that we've managed to snatch losses/draws from the jaws of victory in too many games already...
Heard this a few times but we've got a much better record against them than people think.

Game kicks off at 10:30pm Aussie time. I’ll be well oiled by then. I’ve got mates coming over for a BBQ during the day.

I’ll try not to add to this thread around then, all teary and emotional like a pissed up 15yo girl

A 50% home win rate against a team we've been considerably better than over the last 10 years really isn't great.

Great news, particularly regarding Richarlison and Odobert.

Nearly a fully fit squad, so there will be some notable omissions from the team for Saturday. I'd imagine Bergvall and Lankshear will make way for Son and Richarlison.

After the shambolic throwing away of a victory against Brighton, I’m almost past caring. Won’t be watching this one.
Tottenham, without fail, will always find a way to disappoint. I’ve never known it any different in the last 25 years, League Cup win aside.

We hope, as a group under Ange, we not jiust learn from it but its a significant step in our growth under him.

We'll win this with Sonny back in the side.

The team news is as positive as we could hope for and West Ham have been crap so far under Lopetegui. I am confident - just hope the crowd isn’t too quiet and sleepy for the early kick off.

We haven't lost a game in that way for some time so it's a bit odd to feel that way. It's football, it happens. Why do people have to be so dramatic about it?

So one poor second half and you're almost past caring? Fair enough if that's honestly how you feel.

We won 5 on the bounce prior to that Brighton game, played well in the games we dropped points in as well. And even the first half v Brighton was brilliant. Just feels a bit strong to me but to each their own I guess.

It was a kick in the nuts, but we did win the 5 games prior to that...

Think this is a very tricky game for Ange.

I'm still 100% behind him and feel that we need to stay patient but the fact remains that this is our worst start to a season for a very long time and if we drop more points on Saturday then the tabloid press will be sharpening their knives. There will also be some eejits on here calling for his head.

Personally , I think he has us playing some amazing football and but for bad luck and complacency we would be right in the mix. The 8 points dropped to Leicester, Newcastle and Brighton really should have been in the bag and if they had, then we would be sitting pretty sweet in the table.

I also think that the squad is still fully behind Ange but they need to realise that they need to sweat blood for the man from here on or they will soon be starting from scratch again under a new manager.

Hope Ange reads the riot act after the international break and makes it very clear that switching off during games is a thing of the past.
