I hate playing these lot. I have no idea why so often our team whimpers in to, and out of, this match. It’s a real bugbear of mine.

If the defeat to Brighton last weekend was bad, I still feel physically sick thinking about the 3-3 against West Ham a few years ago. One of the hardest results to take in recent history, and it wasn't even a defeat. It just feels like we've had a truly shit record against them in the last 4-5 years.

This is one of those games where I don't care if it's a gritty 2-1 with a winner deflected in off Soucek's arse, just fucking win.

Big test with the early kick-off coming out of an international break and following the Brighton loss.

Terrible time for a break as I imagine we would have seen a reaction to Brighton the following week, but hopefully the players haven't forgotten and will play with enough intensity to make a point in a derby game this time round.

It's not that bad results wide, very mixed over recent years. Last 6 home and away games are wwdwld. Last 6 at home wdwwwl but people seem to dwell on the losses.

Lose and Ange has to walk. The club needs to dissolve and I can save north of a grand a year.

Win and I shall raise a smirk.

Ugh. West Ham. A game we always should win, but rarely do. Not looking forward to this, particularly given that we've managed to snatch losses/draws from the jaws of victory in too many games already...

They're unbeaten away from home so far, 1 win and 2 draws.

This won't be a walk in the park.

Just had a look, their away games so far have been against Palace, Fulham and Brentford. They play us away on Saturday and are at home to United on 27th, meaning their first league game outside London this season will be game week 10 on 2nd November at Forest.

Bit mad that.

Interested to see if Ange makes changes based on some of the performances against Brighton.

I’ve not even looked at their results this season. A Nothing team. Doing nothing. Brush them aside and move on.

The performance in 1st or 2nd half? Romero could be out if he returns late. Would also like to see Moore instead of Werner.

Got a feeling Son will be back for some reason.

Vicario
Porro Dragsuin VDV Udogie
Bentancur
Kulu Maddison
Johnson Solanke Son

Romero back late and tbh needs to be dropped. Think Sarr and Biss arrive back late from international duty aswell.
