Sissoko and Aurier give away needless free kicks that resulted in them scoring twice. Simply not good enough. Sanchez is awful and he has a look of nervousness everytime I see him. Thanks a bunch

midfield lost control after Winks came on for Ndombele, it actually reminded me of Everton again. Don’t think he can play alongside Sissoko.

Sanchez just doesn’t seem comfortable on the left side of the defense. Also those late Aurier fouls always kill me. Rough to watch.

We had lost control before Winks came on, but disappeared one Ndombele went off.

It looked like Sissoko and Winks played deep with Hojbjerg playing Infront of them.

Just frustrating that we are unable to knock the ball around cm to keep possession.

as i said earlier in this thread, every time we are building momentum, every time there is excitement and a feel good factor about the club, every time we have a winnable game next to really make a statement, we shit the bed.

every time, always forever and ever
It’s actually ridiculous how often this happens no matter who the coach is or who we have on the pitch.

Don’t think that was ever a free kick either.
While I agree it wasn’t a foul, Aurier never should have allowed that situation to develop. Took a soft touch and allowed the West Ham player to nip in. A lack of hunger and decisiveness is simply inexcusable in the dying moments with a one-goal lead at the edge of the box. He’s got to be dropped after YET ANOTHER massive fuckup that cost us points. Absolutely fucking sick to death of it.

To be honest what Winks does in that last third goal is a cardinal sin. It's 10 seconds left. The ball has to be cleared - You don't drive the ball towards the middle trying to dribble past players.

Lanzini doesn't score that again even if he had 10,000 tries. But once again it's those late fouls that kills us. Definitely still room for improvement.
I mean, its not like Winks' awareness was any good to begin with. So thats par for the course from him.

Knee jerk: Bale looks about 25% fit at best. Like he’d turned up for a charity game

But the game turned when we took Ndombele off
Not knee jerk, he's just not fit yet. He was huffing and puffing after 10 minutes. Not saying that's his fault either.

Daughter's birthday today, so I wasn't watching.

I checked at half time. Flying. Checked at 80 minutes, still 3-0 but Harry had just hit the post and we were apparently coasting.

What the fudging fudge happened?!! ?

You absolutely can blame Jose when they were both with us the entire break and they were subbed off for players who really should not have been getting minutes in this side again.
Yeah his subs were suspect today as was the decision to drop off second-half. Not sure why Davies wasn’t brought on to solidify things rather than Lucas. Who was a headless chicken yet again.

Sanchez is so shit in the air. I don't believe we would have necessarily conceded those goals if Dier was playing.

I'm really not sure what he does well other than being fast. If he hadn't of cost £40m we would have written him off a long time ago. Sanchez, Winks, Aurier and Sissoko combined to fuck that up for us - all SCs favourite players. Probably Jose's fault for having them on the pitch at the same time.

Winks offered absolutely nothing. Genuinely didn’t do a single thing. The drop off when Ndombele came off was absolutely staggering. I don’t see how he can ever be trusted to see out a match.
Your not wrong! Shouldve sold him in the summer and promoted skipp at least he puts his foot in. I just don’t see what Winks offers.
