BTW, anyone know who the Irish guy was, that was co commentating on the game on NBC here in the US?

Now I'm Irish, but this guy was driving me fucking nuts
Keith Andrews could hear him moaning when Watford were wasting chances, I guess he had a bet on

I agree to a point. But as a coach, when you are left with several first teamers who want out and wont pen a new contract, what can you do? It doesnt matter how much of a motivator you are. Still. Needs to be a long term and thought out response or it's all pointless.
Play players that will be looking to cement a first team spot. Tanganga showed promise in preseason, can we honestly say he’d perform worse?
He has to pick the players he can rely on to show some desire, because all that talent out there currently is abject, they have no fight in them so they’re performing worse than any young, hungry player would. He’s given this lot plenty of opportunity to prove their worth and, quite frankly, they’ve spat it back in his face.

Having said that, my personal opinion is that Poch is the root cause of this, there’s really no other plausible explanation for virtually the entire squad just downing tools. When someone like Kane, with his love for the club and desire to win things with us, really can’t be arsed when wearing our colours, but works his socks off playing for England, you KNOW that it’s because none of them want to play for the manager.

I’m truly sorry to say it, but he has to go before any division amongst the players becomes untenable.

I don't think Poch leaving will bring about the kind of improvement that we're all looking for. There are clearly other problems at the Club which are perennially ignored. If we want to keep our best players and win something then team investment urgently needs to be addressed.

Don't worry it's not that far until January for him to make changes.....oh wait

Not skilful enough
Not clever enough
Not strong enough

Apart from lots of possession absolutely no guile, seemingly no plan on how we were meant to open them up

Physically you couldn’t see any of our lot out muscling their defenders to power in a header

We play the ball out wide for 90 mins but don’t have any full backs who can a) beat a player with skill b) put in a high quality cross. Son helped a bit by pulling out wide, but I’d like to see him more down the middle

Numerous times Watford put 2 passes together and were nearly through us

Some of our 'best' players want out even though we offered to make them well paid, keeping them isn't the issue, them turning into self important ****s is. Players are as much to blame as the head coach/manager.

This club, as ever, have managed to get to the brink of something good and then fuck it up completely.

No but if a Manager comes in with a big reputation players like Kane might pick up and think we can do something here.
