Poch with such an important point: "I think the team after we played eight games, six Premier League games, one in Carabao Cup and another in the Champions League. We play six away, two at Wembley and Saturday we play at Huddersfield. I think we need to say too that the effort of the team is fantastic to play a lot of games away from home. It's important to tell you and you tell our fans that the effort we are doing with the fans is fantastic for the club."

Away games or not this team is nowhere near the level of where they were it all looks messy at the moment and must confess not looking forward to Barcelona and the city game really fear the worst.

I know Lamela is marmite on this forum but I have to say his ‘never say die’ attitude is one of the positives this season. A goal and assist in this game, I know people with crucify him for Watford second goal but he got us the opportunity for the penalty and got us the equalizer. On Saturday he got a well deserved goal against Brighton. His head never goes down and he fights till the last whistle, something the rest of our squad should take heed of. He deserves to start our next game over Eriksen; the tenacity he shows sets the tone and one the team should follow.

I think he's more peanut butter
than Marmite these days
I don't actually like either
but PB more acceptable to most.
Currently undroppable.

I was fairly happy with last nights game, Watford had a strong team and are full of confidence at the moment, thought Gomes made some good saves especially Sissoko's effort. Performances seem to be improving which is always a good sign, Son and Lamela were the stand out players for us, thought Success was brilliant for Watford.

Did Gomes make a save last night? I remember the Sissoko shot blocked by mariappa and dele volleying over the bar, but apart from that I'm struggling to think of a serious time we troubled him.

Thought we gave up way too many efforts at goal yesterday. Sanchez had an absolute shocker, only bettered in that regard by Davies who has fallen off a cliff.

BBC show we had 4 on target so I would guess he made 2saves?

Couldn't go to MK and have seen no footage of the match but I can't help thinking that playing at a neutral ground without our spine of Lloris, Verthongen, Eriksen and Kane against a top four side we went through so on reflection not a bad night's work.

I don't understand why footballers turn their backs on shots. Like Davies tonight if he faces that shot down that goal doesn't happen. Surely they really coached this. So annoying.

It’s cost us two goals this season already. Last night with Davies and Vertonghen against inter. I’ve always said any player turning their back on a shot that results in a goal should be fined a weeks wages. They wouldn’t do it then.

I made the point the other day that before yesterday our next 6 games were in 6 different grounds. That can’t be easy.

The fact that we see this so often in football makes me think it's a completely sub conscious reaction that cant be coached, some players do it, some don't....Its a natural reflex to protect your vitals (head/chest and stomach) if somethings coming towards them.
