Shame this doesn't come across on the TV. Not so many years a go you could really hear the fans singing on TV, but now it's far more sanitised.

Yeah atmosphere was increbile second half, you could visibly see it affect both sets of players

Love this.

And this is why Anges football is so important.

On the front foot, be relentless, intensify the pressure...plus a noisy crowd will just tire the opposition out.

Fans need to keep this energy.

If we had a pragmatic coach, we'd be sat back and the crowd would go quieter.

Our home fans/stadium/atmosphere is a weapon - it’s great

The trick is to sort out the away issue. We won’t achieve anything if we go missing in away games.
Composition of midfield is first thing. Sarr has to be nailed on starter and we cannot play Maddison & Kulusevski.

And for me, Sarr and Kulu first choice most weeks, and one of Bentancur/Bissouma.

Thats the midfield dynamics imo.

Went with the Villa-supporting wife. Made a few predictions pre-match and at half time. Got one wrong. We didn’t win 4-0. But I did predict an hour before the game that Madders would come on and score the 4th. She was more confident of him scoring that freekick than anyone else in the stadium.

He dominated the area and punched the first corner away. Following cross came in and Dragusin was dominated by Onana and Vicario saves after coming off the post. The next corner it’s deflected at edge of the six yard box where he is not going to be positioned and makes a great save, which then leaves unmarked Rogers who all our team left on his own to push and shove Vicario.

So disagree, we are just bad as a unit defending and attacking set pieces.
Miss Kane who was great at defending the near post
Did Kane take that role because he knew it had to be done or because that’s what he was told to do in training? If the latter then I don’t see why Solanke wouldn’t be equally effective there.

Yup. I think that much is clear now. We’re moving towards a ‘horses for courses’ approach to selection, which is great really, if we can make it work.

Need to be prepared to win the battle at times

Not sure, but he was so effective there defending, and yeah I agree Solanke would be good at taking that role on.

Sky couldn’t wait to move onto the man yoo game.

sure if Villa had won there would have been plenty of time for analysis
Why would there have been more analysis if Villa had won? I’m struggling to keep up with all these conspiracies against different clubs? Why do Sky prefer Villa to us?

Notwithstanding the above there is a simple reason Sky give extra attention to Utd. It’s not a conspiracy either; it’s economics.
