Well didn't see that coming, very enjoyable but still plenty of issues, every corner is now a drama unfortunately, brave call to take Son off and delighted it paid off for Ange , that's what you like to see from your manager.
Solanke definitely MOM but a little word for Ben Davies, first appearance in the prem this season and never put a foot wrong,in fact his challenge set up the crucial 2nd goal.A steadying influence just when we needed it.

Half time magic
The change in energy, focus and incisiveness between the first and second was massive overall.

We were actually pretty good keeping possession and pressing in the first half but we just looked incredibly flat the min the ball got near their box.

Ange clearly had a good talking to them but also seemed to let Son come in field a bit more which freed him up.

Massive win against a very good Villa side.

Let's not forget they rested most of their players, whilst we had a tough game against city.

One to enjoy this weekend!
Is resting players such a good thing, didn’t help us last week & didn’t seem to help Villa 2day?

Was a bit surprised he took son off given how he started the half.

Sky couldn’t wait to move onto the man yoo game.

sure if Villa had won there would have been plenty of time for analysis

Fair play to Unai Emery, whose 53rd birthday it is today.

Now, by the time I got to that age, I was all for taking it easy.

But not our Unai.

Instead, he takes the boys down to London and proceeds to get absolutely slaughtered.

Good lad.

I do love when a keeper wastes so much time until his side are behind then it's all guns blazing. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke in Martinez. ****.

We're leading the league in goals scored with 22.
We really share them out between the team now, too. Could see Solanke, Johnson, Son and Maddison all getting 10+ over the course of the season.

It was hilarious with Foderingham last season. Only reason there was 12 mins added time was because of him, and he concedes 2 right at the end. 😂

Feel sorry for Maddison a bit because I honestly think he's having a decent season, but we look so much better with Sarr in there in the tougher games.
