So much of a better half both in play and commitment. Could have done without more injuries, but it is what it is. Well played all.
We tired them out 1st half and then turned the screw 2nd half, great performance, we continue to grow and mature as a team.

So so exciting under Ange.

More ups and downs to come but absolutely loving it.

Night and day since the Jose/Nuno/Conte horror days.

2 well structured wins in a row. Keep it up boys.

Thought Sarr, Kulu and Dom were the standouts today.
Very very impressed with the ground covered by both Sarr and Solanke.

Loved seeing Solanke's work rate even after his 2 goals

Much better second half.

That Sonny cross resulting in the first goal made Villa open up A bit more which really helped us as we had been huffing and puffing a lot without any end product

Cracking result.

Oh ye of little faith.

Bloody brilliant result.

Especially as Villa rested most of their stars in the cup midweek.

Thought our defence was really good today, even with all the changes through the game.

So pleased for Solanke. What a warrior he's been this week.

Sarr also seems to have stepped back up a level and is getting more confident on the ball.

Anyway, bloody brilliant. COYS!

He was literally in the right place to stop an own goal.

No the right place is dealing with the incoming corner, not getting distracted and being out of position.
His save was purely recovery and he’ll be a lot more solid if he doesn’t have to react so much.

Absolute fair play to Ange. Made the changes early and it more than paid off. Great attacking performance in that second half, with big Dom finding his range and then some. MoM.

A Maddison free-kick was the icing on the cake. Johnson bagging one and Solanke bagging two (the first was pure class). Honestly going forward we are so so good.

Negatives conceding first again and Romero injury, but hopefully it's just the next week he misses with the international break coming after Ipswich. Fingers crossed both he and Micky are back for City at least.

Oh and another injury for Richarlison who just can't catch a break. Feel for him.

Watch the replay... He is in the right place. He saved an own goal. He didn't scramble across the goal to get to it.

He didn't have to be in the right place pre-kick.
