Looking at that table

Everyone's talking as though we won against Villa at WHL last season. I must have been experiencing some fever dream when I saw us lose then
We did lose, but where on top most of the game, it was a bit like west ham at home last season too

If Villa set up against us as they usually do, it’ll be a mad open game which we have a good chance of edging with the home advantage.

If they’ve learnt their lesson from last season and sit back and hit us on the counter, it could be pretty painful for us. Watkins and Dhuran are deadly on the break and we won’t have VDV.

Going to be a lot of action today - IMO, we will see lot of corners, lot of goals and lot of cards.

2-2 or 3-2 Spurs my prediction

45+ years of supporting Spurs, you rarely feel confident on match day. So difficult to predict which Tottenham will turn up. Villa are no mugs under Emery.

If we win this game and get within touching distance of the top 6, we’ll definitely lose at home against Ipswich.

Seeing how much better Son played after a little rest last time, maybe his best will be too much for Villa today

Deserved start for Sarr.

Tough days for Madders - but he is still a captain, and we need him firing at his best.

I think that's our most balanced midfield and the one I wanted to see

I think the constant midfield changes tell you that we are still very much in a process.

I don't believe we have the right blend for Ange yet.

All of Maddison, Sarr, Bentancur and Bissouma have had poor spells and not kept up with the demands.

Until we get the right blend or players that play that role perfectly, we are going to have off days.

Hopefully this blend today shows signs of doing that
