Battle of the high lines.

I feel confident with us attacking…

But I’m also petrified of Watkins/Rogers/Bailey up against our defence with no VDV to mop up.
Tbf last season we lined up with Royal and Davies and they fared alright in the end. We were unlucky to lose the game.

Villa will play out and be more open, and I feel our system tends to do better in those games. Stats might prove me wrong though.

The trick will be stopping their midfield getting those players the ball.

Absolutely can’t call this game, should be a cracker. If we play well we could not only win but trounce their high line, at the same time they pose quite a threat with Rogers, Watkins etc.

I feel like game if we win or lose will really set the tone for our whole league season finish.

Win and we eek back up there and have won against a big rival team.

Lose and we are fairly cemented bottom half.

What recommendations are there to get to the stadium from Heathrow? right now it looks the the heathrow express to paddington and then a bunch of jumps from Euston to Seven Sisters to White Heart Lane. And are there any highly recommended pubs pre game? First timer to the new stadium so any and all advice accepted.
I did that journey for the Brentford game. Took Picadilly line to somewhere (cant remember where) then Victoria line to Seven Sisters, then train to White Hart Lane. Did the same going back and Total cost was £12.50.
In my youth which is a long time ago I used to walk from Seven Sisters tube station.
I found beer to be cheaper inside the stadium than the pub I went to but you miss the atmosphere of the pub etc.

I’m not having tiredness as an excuse. They are elite professional athletes that have played 15 games this season between a squad of 18 players. They’ve had 3 days recovery period so absolutely no excuse as far as I’m concerned regardless of how taxing Wednesday may have been.

All about the atmosphere.

Need to make it difficult for them. Do it that and we'll win.

I mainly agree with this. It would take around 4 days on average for max recovery from an intense session like Wednesday with the facilities available to the players. Given that they are elite athletes we can assume that they have better genetics than normal blokes so 3 days recovery is probably enough.

If it was me, I’d have been throwing up during the match and bed ridden for the next week.

Sods law, reduced service today on Elizabeth Line , Heathrow Express may be the best option.

ELIZABETH LINE: Sunday 3 November, a reduced service operates between Paddington and Heathrow / Maidenhead. Six trains an hour will serve Ealing Broadway, Southall and Hayes & Harlington in each direction, four trains an hour will serve Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, and two trains an hour will serve Heathrow Terminal 4, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead. Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell

Piccadilly to KX, Viccy to Tottenham Hale, follow the street signs and line of spurs shirts, stop for a cheeky pint and a sausage sandwich at The Volunteer. Cushty, my son.

Proper six pointer this one. Win and we're right back in the mix. Lose and we're 8 points behind them, potentially as low as 12th, and will need to rely on the cups to save anything from the season

We absolutely battered Villa in both games last season.

Hopefully we continue to

I used to work at Heathrow and I used to use the Piccadilly line from Hatton Cross to Finsbury Park then get on the Victoria line to Seven Sisters. Then either get the overground to WHL or walk it.
This was before the New Stadium.

Everyone's talking as though we won against Villa at WHL last season. I must have been experiencing some fever dream when I saw us lose then
