For the first time this season, I think this one is a seriously must-win game.

Being in the Europa this year as a one-off is fine, and it's come at a great time for our squad's development. Beyond that though, England's going to have on average 5 teams in the Champions League each season (sometimes 4, but also sometimes 6). We simply have to be consistently one of them. If we want to compete for trophies, we cannot be losing financial ground on our rivals to a combined total of hundreds of millions of pounds every year. We can and will be left behind.

5 points behind Villa, after some wobbly results despite mostly promising performances. A team we should absolutely be able to finish above, and a head-to-head at home. I don't care how we do it on this occasion, but three points is essential.

Can we have to same noise as on Wednesday , Ange in yesterday's press conference.

The supporters play a big part in that. I thought they were brilliant on Wednesday night and that's part of it because if they can generate that energy in the stadium, the players certainly feed off it and it makes oppositions uncomfortable.

Hopefully! But tbh, I think some of the ST Holders not being there actually helps quite a lot in the south stand...

I think we need to be realistic; they looked knackered after Wednesday with a number of injuries. Not to mention VDV out.

Villa are fully rested with everyone available. It’s going to be a big ask, I feel.

This is going to be tough. They're rested, motivated, on form, and at full strength.

Honestly, any win, in any manner for me. Not expecting miracles.

Not sure about Villa being ‘fully rested’, they lost at home to Palace on Wednesday, the same night we beat City.

I think Son and Deki will cause them more problems than they cause us.

Daylight robbery last year, we battered them and still lost.

3-1 Spurs, Son brace and Johnson

What recommendations are there to get to the stadium from Heathrow? right now it looks the the heathrow express to paddington and then a bunch of jumps from Euston to Seven Sisters to White Heart Lane. And are there any highly recommended pubs pre game? First timer to the new stadium so any and all advice accepted.

From Heathrow take the Elizabeth Line not the Heathrow Express get off at Liverpool Street then take Overground to White Hart Lane takes about 1 hr 30 mins but only the one change.

Or you can take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and change on to Elizabeth Line there, it cuts about 15 minutes from journey.

PS If you want to save a few pounds probably cheaper not to use the Heathrow Express as it is not part of the TFL system where there is a daily cap on pay as you go fares , I think its around £15 a day to travel as far as you like in London on TFL routes which includes Elizabeth Line, Overground , Underground and buses.

PSS As usual , problems today , reduced service from Heathrow on Elizabeth Line.

Everyone set up the same way against us last season, except for Emery, and we crushed them. He probably learned his lesson and will sit deep and counter, especially since we don’t have VdV cheat codes.

Dr. Tottenham showed up when Eze needed it, and I believe Dr. Tottenham will do the same for Watkins. It would be a 100% loss if this were an away game, but maybe we manage something since we’re at home.

I think the rested element can be overstated sometimes. That's not to say it doesn't have any impact because it obviously does, but it's not always a case of players rested = better performance.

I remember when we played them last season I think it was at home when yes we did lose, but we absolutely blew them away and should have been out of sight. I went into the game incredibly apprehensive as we had Gil on the left, both Lo Celso and Kulusevski in the middle, Royal and Davies at CB, and I was shocked by the football we were playing still.

Play as we can and take our chances and I think we'll be OK. The taking of chances will be important as Villa are a side capable of punishing you for not doing so, but I do certainly think we'll get those chances. Vital that Son is back with that in mind.

Let's hope for a fantastic win and great experience for you.

Its a beautiful stadium and something to behold the first time you walk out into it. The pictures and videos don't do it justice from the wow experience you get.

Enjoy and hopefully 3 points to make the journey more worthwhile.

No away wins in the EPL today, Emery’s birthday tomorrow, my Spurs brain tells me that only one team will win tomorrow 🤷🏼

Yikes. Anything other than a win tomorrow and 10 games in, and the table is looking pretty bleak.

Battle of the high lines.

I feel confident with us attacking…

But I’m also petrified of Watkins/Rogers/Bailey up against our defence with no VDV to mop up.
