It literally defies logic.

I know his first corner hit the first man but after that he put in two very dangerous ones that Mings who seemed to everywhere tonight did well to head away from inside his 6 yard area. If our boys had attacked that same corner with the same vigour that Mings did in defending it youd be saying wow what a corner.

Check out Danny Rose’s face when Kane scores his first. He looks so happy. I really believe he loves this club.

He's been with us so long I'd imagine he does have a lot of affection for the club. But above all I think Danny Rose loves winning. And that's why I love him!

Clubs are certainly going to have to offer a large fee if they want to prise him from us. His contribution on the pitch this season alone could easily be worth a huge amount of prize money. We'd be fools to take the risk of selling him for anything other than big money.
Made a big difference today, I suspect some of that was being left on the bench, whatever , good to see him looking sharp. When he wants too, he's the nuts.

Very poor display. Luckily as we brought on Eriksen they had just started to tire and our extra fitness and skill finally made the difference. I am expecting us to get properly turned over next weekend.
Don’t. This happens all the time. We expect to turned over by the big boys but we usually give at least a reasonable accounts of ourselves

If we keep eriksen it will be interesting to see how we lineup. Dier and wanyama will see near zero playing minutes if we opt for glc and dombele in a 2 man cm with sissoko, winks and skipp next in line.

I felt we were very open when we lost possession particularly from our corners

That must be looked at before city game

11 men behind the ball. Only attacking option the long ball over the top.
This has been the shit teams against us for 4 or 5 seasons and nothing is going to change.

If he won't sign all attempts must be made to sell him. We don't have a magic money tree.
That said, Eriksen holds all the cards. in 5 months or so he can negotiate a free transfer. Real Madrid might want to take a chance on him then.
Got to be well odds on that he runs down his contract.
The point is that his value to us on the pitch would exceed the value of a low-ball offer from a club who think they have us over a barrel due to his contract. The CL run last season was worth €100m. Finishing in the top four is worth a huge amount of money as well. Continuing to do well in the league and in Europe is also crucially important for our ability to grow the club's brand and the commercial revenues that come along with it, not to mention our ability to remain an attractive prospect to players on the level of Ndobmele, Lo Celso, and Dybala.

We saw today how incredibly influential he is for us. If he stays and plays at his best level, even if in an attempt to make himself attractive to a megaclub on a Bosman, it will be hugely valuable for us. We can't sell him away for anything less than a fee that reflects his worth.

On the train home with a big grin on my face, first ten minutes I thought we were fast skillful and overwhelming them and then they scored and it all went flat until Eriksen came on, he made the difference without a doubt although we also changed shape and they tired as well. They never make it easy for us do they.

I fail to see what your point is.

I can’t remember the last time a team’s players chucked themselves on the floor as much as Villa’s did today. It was unbelievable.
