Poor 1st 70 mins or so but improved when we changed to a back 4 and we started to see more of the ball as Fernandes grew into the game. A very lucky win in the end. Despite being poor for most of the game it was nice to see both Moura and Son keep plucking away and getting their rewards. The only stand out poor performance came from Vertonghen.

We've been out played, significantly out played for a large part of that match yet again but some how come alive in the last 15 mins to get the win.

The players will talk about character but I'd question the starting mentality. Jose might give instruction to soak it up but not to look so lethargic. I don't think we can play like that for many games and come out with the points or win.

Dele's ability to hold the ball up and bring players in running off him made the difference which finally got saints on the back foot.

Jose has a lot of players to find combinations and links for to get this team purring again.

Still a bit sad and gutted for super Jan.

Well wasn't happy with most of the performances and NDombele looked half arsed even from the off.He did help with the first goal but really looked slow and didn't hustle for the ball too much
