Just as you think Pochettino was consistently adopting a rotation strategy :ROFLMAO:

I really like that he's made minimal changes to the team though, it's an approach I agree with.

Well colour me wrong. I didn't think Lo Celso and Ndombele would start three days after playing in Belgrade.

Hopeful signs, not because the others are bad, but because these two are our future and they need to play.

Some significant changes to the last Spurs team that played in the PL. Good luck to them all !

Looks like some continuity in selection at last. Full back changed as usual but I suspect Foyth would be playing if he wasn’t being carefully managed back into full fitness

That's a decent team. I would have liked Lamela over dele but that is good enough.

Lo celso is rightly in ahead of eriksen too.

I think this is the 'difficult' evolution that poch was referring to in the summer. It's hard to change such an established team, particularly with new players who are either unfit and/or not used to the league.

Lo celso for eriksen. Ndombele for dembele. Foyth for Trippier. Sessegnon for rose. Sanchez for toby. These are huge changes that will inevitably impact our performances.

Whilst all of that is true, I think poch could have handled this transitional period a lot better.

Maybe there's no penny dropping.

Maybe it's just that Pochettino reckons Ndombele and Lo Celso are ready to play their full part.
