We must have been instructed to play this way. We know we can play much much better than this. We also can attack far greater than we've seen tonight. It looks like we're just following orders.

I have no issue with the players selected, but since December, we have played give the ball away football. We have been extremely lucky with results.

If you think the players we have can't play football then you need your head examined.

GLC
Bergwijn
Lucas
Alli
Winks
Gedson

Those 6 players are capable of stringing 5 passes together. If you can say they can't keep the ball then you need to follow that up with we are going to be relegated.

i don’t disagree we can’t play better with the players we have. i’ve never said that.

and i don’t need my head examined. that’s not a very nice thing to say. i just have a different view on things from you, thats all.

Usually like Jenas but isn't it pretty obvious the game plan is to sit in and stay in the game, and come forward in the last half hour like we did against Liverpool and City.

Aurier is an awful awful footballer there's not really much more to say about it.

A dodgy as fuck start (our modus operandi) for 20 mins but after that it was a good arm wrestle.

We all know where our deficiencies are so no point going over and over it again. Aurier/Winks positional discipline has been a big factor in them carving us open.

I’m sure Jose can tweak a bit and spin this in our favour. This type of frenetic, open game is tailor made for Ndombele.

I know some won’t agree with me but I’m pretty happy with the first half and I think Jose’s tactical choices have been the right ones

Just because we’re at home doesn’t mean we have to be “controlling” the game. Leipzig are very good at pressing and counter attacking. The most important thing is for us to not concede. If we want to control the game a bit more we can bring on Ndombele. We don’t look that bad in attack, we’ve had some decent counter attacking opportunities

Lamela and Ndombele can definitely change the game for us in the second half

Aurier can jog on after that half. I know he's up against quality players but repeatedly jogging back when you've been bypassed is not acceptable.

Even more unacceptable that he isn't even jogging back in the right direction....

We’ve still to face 7 of the top 10 in the league & I’m struggling to see how we will score goals without Son & Kane, we really should be having more efforts at goal in this game

They’re letting us have the ball out wide and then surrounding the player so we’re losing the ball. It’s clever but we fall for it every time. Someone has to be let lose enough to make support runs.

With no striker, no Son, and a team of half fit players it's to be expected against a well oiled pressing machine like this lot. The positive is we started to grow into the game and started to create some opportunities

we are being too nice can we fucking show these guys the physicality of the premier leagues? They are getting away bullying us with late tackles, we need to really smash them in with a few crunching tackles

Alli is a player, but he's a good third piece. Whenever he is forced into being the focus (due to injury or suspension) he seems a bit in over his head. Flashes of brilliance followed by long stretches of panic play.

Between that and Moura being Moura, i have no idea where our goals are gonna come from unless La Celso and Bergwjin go off, or Jose bites the bullet and gives Parrott a go.
