Don't like this high line approach with a lead, one man down and Davies at the back.

We have Son and Johnson who love playing on the counter. This could actually be a chance to play to their strengths but nevermind Ange, do your thing.

All good can reorganise now.

Biss and Solanke been everywhere very impressed with both.

Biss has been great but still his sloppy give away on the edge of their box that nearly led to a goal.

If he wants to be an elite CM (has the ability) he needs consistent levels of concentration to go with it

Kulu for son would feel like a good change. He can run forever and has the strength to keep the ball. Don’t feel like Son will do enough to help out defensively. Never a dull moment with us

Ref has annoyed me, he sent radu off fairly and then proceeded to let them kick us all over the pitch.

Their pressing is excellent though and we need to be sharper.

I was hoping for a nice convincing performance tonight
Never popular to say but I think the ref has been great. Their 6 could have gotten a yellow, but that aside I don't think there's a call I disagree with.

Think you just want to get an agenda here across, mate. Down to 10, winning. Only reason we wouldn't be is the sloppiness of some of the players. Not always down to Ange, need a bit more responsibility out there.
Might be because I hate to see us playing with so much risk, but Qarabag seem to be wanting us to attack as they know we cannot push too many on and our attacks are running out of steam. They can then get the ball forwards ASAP on a counter.

I don't know if they have the ability to build with the ball, but I'd not be unhappy to see us play their game with a one goal lead.

Solanke has been brilliant. Biss has been a bit wasteful but he’s definitely put a shift it.
Biss is doing Sarr's job and sometimes overdoing it or wants to do Sarr's job and is not a DM who can hold his position which is causing us a lot of problems.

It was the lack of yellows that annoyed me. It may just have been the six to be fair

Wouldn't mind seeing Son and Sarr replaced in the second half if they don't pick things up a bit.

Impressed with Solanke, he’s been busy. Need another goal from him & he’ll grow in confidence

Apart from the goal we haven't really created much at all. Everything played at a snail's pace until we give the ball away then it's panic stations at the back with everyone running around like it's their first time on the pitch together.

A decent team would have 3 pretty straight forward goals on us by now. Yeah, we are a man down but still, it's a concern

paramount streaming the important plays from multiple angles. fascinating to see. Solanke brushing off the defender on Johnson's goal like it was nothing. We just may have a player on our hand.

On another note, I wonder if we'd be "allowed" (ie is there a rule against it) to sub Bergvall back on if we wanted to in the second half.
No, once off you are off, but I did think it would be an interesting ( rugby style) modification to the rules.

That red card is so frustrating, I really wanted to see us playing at full strength with no excuses.
