It might not matter to them but I’ll have a pound to a pinch of shit it matters to those who pay a small fortune to go every game…home, away or both…to put up with that is not acceptable….whatever the big picture maybe…
I'm not making excuse for them

I agree

Match highlights for me:

Tel running full pelt trying to keep ball in and flying over the hoarding. Really giving his all.

Fans joking with Eze when talking the corner about him joining us and Eze responding/smiling.

Game itself was shit and barely anyone tried.

The new stadium was a proper game-changer that’s for sure.

Teams love coming to one of the best grounds in the world and don’t have to do very much to beat us.

It’s like The Emperor's New Clothes - Levy being the Emperor flaunting the riches and glamour of the stadium and the money spinning fripperies but somewhere along the way the football side has lost it’s way leaving generations of old and new supporters wanting a winning team but left with false dawns
as always with the penny pinching we have known for three decades of ENIC
Levy isn't the reason we've been a laughing stock on the field this year

if it was we would see this amount of defeats every season

we've been out of European football how many times in the past 10-15 years? All qualified via the league from memory

Home from the game and not surprised at the outcome, Palace obviously placed more importance on it and they are in a pretty good run of form at the business end of the season. They pressed very high which paid off to a large extent because our keeper wasn't playing it long hardly at all, with no Solanke or Richarlison there was no real out using that route.
On the positive side quite a few players got a good 90 minutes, not least the defence, and Gray got good time in midfield.
Bisouma's attitude was good today, he came on and took on a proper leadership role, taking more responsibility just at the right time.

Bissouma certainly took responsibility watching the ball for 10 seconds instead of finding Eze right over his shoulder.

But what have we won ?

Never spending on strengthening the team when it matters most

Tottenham - the nearly team of the 21st century

Have you seen how much we have spent recently?

how much would you like us to spend?

Thanks to the on field performance we are missing out on a large chunk of money for this window, unless we win the final

that is not down to Levy

It’s not the amount we have spent it’s the bargain basement signings we have bought with the spends

For a few ££ more we could have bought top drawer signings, winners - not Championship standards or paying out loan fees and massive wages on has beens who brought nothing but a decline.

The man at the top always goes for the cheap option whether it be managers or players.

How many season has our team gone through the summer transfer windows without buying no players or players needed for the start of the season - not after dropping points and playing catch up with the pacemakers at the top.

Yeah sorry what was I thinking, of course it was all Bisouma's fault, everything is Bisouma's fault.

You’re right.
Moving to the stadium was a triumph for him and we should always be grateful for that as for a football club not to take the opportunity to maximise their revenue will whither on the vine eventually as we move further behind the high rollers.
However our management on the football side has been poor under Levy/Enic - he is penny wise but £ foolish so we never take that extra step to really make it in the big time. Cheap options, loan stop gaps and hanging onto deadwood for too long will never work out long term as you need to be ruthless and decisive in this game.
Anyway, I am probably going off topic for this thread but today really pissed me off - spending all this money to watch an unprepared and clearly demotivated team plus 5 yard passes go out for throw ins!!…
Onwards to Bilbao…..

Archie Gray - his worst game in a Spurs shirt, by a long way.

Looks like his confidence is shattered. I couldn’t remember one forward pass that worked for him. Struggled all game all positions.

IMO , manager needs to give him clarity and purpose . At present he is drifting with no goal

If injuries are going to happen regardless, why bother changing main line up .

We may as well play the best XI atleaat take some form into final

My fiancée who is clueless (in football 😃) asked me “Why do Tottenham only have two defenders when the red and blue are attacking?”….

Today was so painful. The game itself, the atmosphere, the weird wasp thing, general apathy. Just need this season to end.

Yes - the swarm of bees on the ticket entrance (South Stand) was odd....some sort of omen 🤔

Today we saw a manager is able to inspire his team before a big final!

I’ll tell you for why - Villa will be as keen as mustard, they’re already seriously pissed off at having the game moved and will have to bust a gut to get Champions League and let’s not forget the small matter that Matty Cash won’t need anymore encouragement steaming in to our players and after what I saw Mings do in the highlights yesterday and McGinn can be a nasty so and so in the tackle too, we want to at least give ourselves a chance of having most of our first 11 ready for the final.

It was a bit like After the Lord Mayor's show.
All the excitement of Thursday and now just waiting for the final.

Could argue he’s the reason it’s gone on for so long, though.
