Saw the first half and then had to go out, just got home. Really nice win, although it's pretty shit we didn't score another 4 or 5 in the second half.

For those with not much of a clue, the last part of the second sentence above is meant to be read in laughing/sarcastic tone of voice as I am not in the least bit serious.

Are we happy then? This is turning into RAWK. 4-0 on a banana skin game. I'm well happy. Dread to think what this would be like if we lost 0-1.

Nearly three hours after the final whistle and we are on page 26, we were on page 26 after half an hour on the Newcastle thread, there's obviously a message there but I'm blowed if I can see what it is.

Anyway I'm back from the game and I've had the perfect afternoon, we were at it from the word go and we even had a shot (Winks) in the first minute, pulled them all over the show opened them up and took them apart in that first half, endeavour, effort, fight and some real class a special big shout out to Harry Winks and Serge Aurier and I Jesus I love watching Son in that mood, like he had a duracel battery up his arse.
Second half we showed the same class and fight but just eased down nicely and were never in any danger, I know people might say it was only Palace but it looked like men against boys out there today.

That first half was what we all wanted for a long time. We looked on a different planet compared to Palace who were caught cold.

Well... that's more like it. Nice of Shitty to go down to Norwich as well. Makes it all a bit more interesting.

Biggest win of the season and only 25 pages in this thread. You lot hate it when we play well innit :D

People just love to moan, there were a couple of pages that lit up this thread when the teams were announced, lots of moans there and mid way through the game about Tony Gale.

Miserable bastards we have on here.

Thought in the 1st half we were fantastic. We moved the ball quickly and played with speed, energy and intelligence.

2nd half was dull as dishwater, but was a perfect example of game management from Poch and the lads.

Also thought the atmosphere was decent today.

Two things I really liked about the game today, first how little Eriksen was involved in all of the goals and secondly how unselfish Harry was. In fact it was precisely Harry's vision and passing ability that made us so penetrative today.

We were really fluid going forwards which is something we sometimes struggle with.

All round great team display that proved we really can play football when we want to.

Set a standard in the 1st half & we need to play like that in 90/95% of our games & we'll be challenging for trophies.

Just saw Pochs comments regarding Aurier. Pleased that he recognised his performance, normally he deflects praise and points it towards the whole team. Think now and again it’s good to publicly praise players. Wonder if that is one of the things the staff and players talked over.

on Palace:

Benteke is utterly useless. 3rd season in a row now, looks completely broken.
Zaha frustrating. Goes over easily, partly due to his running style and being the most frequent outlet for them and tactical fouls, but when that happens they haven't got anyone else to take over.
Their defence is crap.

Thing is with Zaha he’s often isolated in what is a poor, defensively minded Palace team. I think we’ll see a much improved player when he finally joins Arsenal or Chelsea.
