FFS not this midfield again ? when will Poch learn to not play Winks and Sissoko together

We should still win comfortably but I said the same thing against Newcastle

You mean Winks and Sissoko whom single handedly carried our central midfield last season?

TN needs to be eased back in, GLC is injured, Wanyama and Dier are both defensive players and haven’t been consistently involved for over a year. Who else are we supposed to play in central midfield? No other options.

It’s a very good line up.

Another crap negative lineup from poch. Dont need both sissoko and winks against a team that will sit off and play on the break. He never learns ffs

Carried our central midfield? Lol .. not sure ‘carried’ is the right word. They were our only 2 fit CMs after Xmas - check the stats out since they started playing in CM together in the new year though - we’ve lost 13 league games FFS! Sissoko and Winks against a team that will Park the bus. Poch has lost the plot on this one by stubbornly keeping picking those two in CM.

Poch isn’t going to learn anything at this stage of his career. He is what he is. Either he’s the man we must follow into a golden future, or not.

Been hibernating recently, so apols in advance. Where are GLC and sessegnon?

GLC injured till circa end of October.
Sess - just resumed full training after months out with a hamstring injury.

What? Who else is meant to play or are you suggesting we line up with 1 CM?
I would play a more creative midfielder in the 2. If ndombele isn't fully fit, and lo celso is unavailable I'd sooner eriksen played along side one of them and moura played in the more advanced role we are no doubt sticking eriksen.

5 games in and we have the second half of last season’s team again. Another slog...

Winks and Sissoko were not really the reason why we lost those matches but cool
