There was room for probably at 80% of ST holders from the Lane to get STs in the south if they wanted it. So nearly anyone intending to sing probably did. In the end it was only Phase 8 people, so about 25% of new ST holders and no old ones, who didn't get that choice. So I don't find it surprising that the atmosphere is nothing special anywhere else. But in the south even the very back of the corner was all standing all game and a very good amount of singing going on.

People were getting chucked out of our block at the front for standing Riggs.

Haha no way. We could where I was.

Anyone over 45 shouldn't be allowed in the stadium.

You've already stolen our future with brexit and now you want to steal our fun.

I usually find Palace supporters inoffensive, but they pissed me off a bit today. It seemed they were determined to try and spoil our party. That's fair enough during the game - every team is going to try and be the first to beat us in our new gaff, but trying to drown out the opening ceremony was, I feel, not really cricket.

Apart from a couple of flat spells you couldn't hear them at all I thought. They're good value, which is what you want from away support, but Palace fans are irrelevant.

Joker of the night, early in the second half behind me asked me to sit down in the south stand. Then when Andros comes on he says to the bloke next to him “Andros Townsend.....did he used to play for spurs?”

So how the hell did a guy like that get a ticket when tens of thousands of members were denied? Genuinely winds me up. The two guys to my left didn’t sing or evenclap the entire game

It was only them trying to ruin the opening ceremony that irritated me.

Might have got a ticket exchange ticket.

We probably will lose away to City in the league. But I think we'll still get top four. The other three teams have tougher fixtures than us.

I don't think we can drop more than 3points ROS if we want top 4. So anything at City is a bonus but I reckon we need to win the other 5.

Just spotted in the programme in the chairmans message a typo saying 2001 riots instead of 2011. Whole evenings a write off.

So the first half for me felt like home..

Sitting beside the old lady and watching the match, but she was in the hospital bed and me on the iPad match stream. No talking during the action.

As soon as the HT whistle went so did I... It's 20 odd minutes drive to home but hoped to get most of the 2nd half. Oh no ..

The only radio with the game was BBC 5 live with shit coverage and Man City live and then the car park barrier died.

I put on the hazards to let the eejit behind me know I was in bother - I was hard up against the ticket
controls and couldn't get out the car to tell that same twat who was blocking my reverse away from
the barrier and go to another adjacent sexist. Waving the ticket and shouting manically it wasn't until another driver got out of his car and told him what was occuring.

Hit the road and find out Son scores just as I catch up with two snail slow artics on a bendy B road. FFS.

Eventually I get home with what I reckon is 20 mins to go and get the stream on again only for it to drop immediately just before the Eriksen goal.

Happy days, typical LOL

Still on my way back. I stood the whole entire game in block 521 south stand and was pretty atmospheric from that area.
Very impressed overall and a big victory!

I've missed so many goals due to being down at the bar. Mad. I litrally came up to my seat as everyone was cheering .
Missed all our goals when we played Dortmund at Wembley! Son's goal - finishing half time beer. Jan's goal - piss. Llorente's goal - train. You couldn't make it up! Bittersweet symphony!!
