I certainly am not getting on his back. But at what point are we allowed to start being a little concerned by Jose's tactics. I still don't understand what we are playing or trying to play. And the Eriksen sub made no sense to me unless it was a publicity stunt. Saying that, obviously a lot of players are out of form and we need investment. I just feel we look as bad as we did with poch.

That was a tough watch to add to the many others last two seasons, lacking urgency, quality and zero cohesion. So much work needed.

Couldn’t care less if United get Poch tbh.

I think they’ll be more hesitant to give Ole the boot than they were Moyes, LVG or Jose.

Typical that after a good last couple of games and appearing to be gaining in confidence, Winks goes and shanks his dodgy ankle again.

Yuck.

What an ugly watch that was.

Lo Celso absolute class, Aurier decent, Winks tidy before he went off. Really poor from everyone else I thought.

Lucas Moura is a terrible footballer and should be no where near the starting XI, injuries or not. I’d stick Dele up front and play Lamela behind him.

That "failed diamond" is, in hind sight, a masterpiece of tactical genius by Poch because it got us to a Champions League final and was scoring us goals - against quality sides - even when we were playing as shit as we are now (because players downed tools).

Now we can't defend; we can't score; we can't do anything cohesive. It's just one big fucking mess. Week after fucking week. Not a single sign of cohesive, understandable, understood and rational footballing intent or strategy.

I get that Mourinho hasn't had any time to force his imprint but this is getting very very worrying now.
How was that working when we are just working the ball in the centre of the field within the diamond but lacked any ideas at all to penetrate stiff block of defence?

At least we still have some crosses in now from Aurier and Sess is slowly joining in too. After Poch dropped the way of bombing FBs, we didn't even have any crosses in from them when we even have a Llorente to aim for. How was that an effective way in playing the diamond considering the personnel we've got are almost negated by that way of playing.

Looked like we were scared to shoot at goal too much tippy tappy football with no end product.

So we’ve assembled a nice collection of tippy-tappy midfielders, but boy do we need some real aggression in there. Shocking how easily Norwich got through.

and we need players that can run, dribble and get past players on a regular basis. Son only do this when he's in superform and Moura is a coin flip at best.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m under the weather at the moment but I’m really struggling to give a shit anymore. When they equalised I hardly flinched and probably less so when we scored the second. This team is a million miles from the one that I grew to love over the last 6 years. Apart from GLC, not one of those players deserve any form of praise for that performance tonight.

Poch will take over at Utd soon and start the revolution. Will make Levy look like a right clueless idiot as well.

Poch will likely be a success wherever he goes, but that doesn't mean he could have turned it around with us par complete squad turnover.

Tippy tappy Winks and Lo Celso in the cm2 were fine, because they played with intensity and aggression and steamed into them and gave them no time on the ball.

The problem was, especially second half, the lazy front four just standing up front waiting for the ball to come to them on the counter. It doesn't matter who you play, top of the league, bottom of the league, pub teams, if you just try and defend with half a dozen forlornly trying to plug huge gaps and are carrying four (or more) passengers not wanting to get back in then you're asking for trouble and will be wide open. And when those passengers are just fucking away the ball the instant they get it, even worse.

Preach brother.

It all starts at the top of the pitch. Whilst all have some redeeming qualities, the triumvirate of Alli/Son/Moura all possess the exact same weaknesses. Watching them attempt to execute some of these breakaways is plain laughable. So little composure and rarely fully in control of the round object.

Bet You were not saying Moura was a terrible footballer when he single handily got us to the champions league final!!!!

The front 4 just doesn’t work, we have to get a striker to give a central focus. Those 4 players are so hit and miss it’s ridiculous. I think two from 4 will be gone next summer tbh.

Not sure what the thinking was behind playing Vertonghen who has shown all season he isn’t up to it in the Premier League any more.

Shame about Winks who was having a good game. Lo Celso was magic.

We desperately have to press on with the rebuild, we can’t go on for the rest of the season serving up this shite.

Surely Ole gets sacked sooner rather than later.

And Poch will take over?

The noises for him to be sacked are going to be massive after this game, I think if they get knocked out of the FA Cup this weekend too he's for sure gone, hopefully Poch stays loyal to us & manages abroad !

That was nothing to do with Son but the shit ball from Lucas

Sorry my timing for that comment was off as I wasn’t talking about just the last shot there. His overall game makes me feel he’s lost his confidence
