The difference between Skipp and Winks in the deeper position that I can see is, Skipp doesn’t rush in and miss the tackle. Winks often goes in and past the player. Skipp gets it, or takes the player out. Nice to see that kind of player in there for us. Dier is also talking to him a lot, and giving him a rollicking when players get through.. Good leadership from one of the more experienced players.

LoCelso a very good creative spark, Dele is frustrated and frustrating.. Dier been good. Bergwijn off the pace, and Moura is fire followed by carpet burn.

Amazing what a difference it is having a Sonny and Kane in the first 11.
Why on earth are you amazed? We have two world-class strikers. Take them out of the team and it's not the same team. Even before you allow for the issues with formation and hold-up play.

we need more players attacking the box. Alli is the only one, and none of a crosses have a chance of connecting.

Unfortunately Alli is at his best when he can play off Kane (and to a lesser extent Son), pop up in awkward spots for the defense and quickly play off one another before CBs can react. When he is the focal point of attack his ability to create those awkward situations for defenders is neutralized. He also doesn't seem to have a great understanding with Lucas or Stevie of when and where they will be making runs or want the ball and vice versa - so lots of flicks that go off into space because the attacker made a different run. Unfortunately losing Harry and Son is like losing 50% of Alli at the same time. Yet another reason we should have had more depth at striker...

Ffs, we played some great passing advancing football early in the game. We can be quite good to watch when we are on our game. Such an absolute myth to brand Mourinho's style as anti-football.
I've been encouraged by it to be honest. Bergwijn and Lo Celso are very effective players as they are technically sound and can move the ball quickly, Lucas is doing better today and when he just keeps it a bit simpler instead of the flicks is a very useful tool as he can take players out of the move.

I think with Kane in that counter attack it becomes much better as he attracts the ball and players, he's also better at spotting passes.

But certainly when we've got it right tonight it's been enjoyable.

Just need to work on the defensive aspect as we still are too easy to play through.

we seem to have a knack of making Norwich look like a half decent team

Warnock: "Spurs don't have to try to score the perfect goal every time."

As if this is anywhere close to being an issue for us.
