The pen was a joke however I agree with the initial free kick it was obstruction. Some how I got the feeling this would happen the amount of chances we had and didn't score plus we are pretty crap at keeping clean sheets.

Not good enough I'm afraid

These rule makers haven’t kicked a ball in their whole fucking lives and this rule shows it. Imagine trying to jump, run, and balance yourself with your arms by your side or behind your back. It’s impossible, yet somehow this rule exists. Dumb as fuck.

Can we just ban people like this for a week? How could you post something so negative after what just happened? We were comfortable at 1-0. Newcastle didn’t muster a single shot for the last few games. Our players have traveled More than 5000 miles in a week with another ridiculous schedule coming up next week so of course fatigue is going to set in. Dier wasn’t a liabity and we only drew because of a new stupid rule which makes zero sense which the rest of the PL are teams are questioning. It’s just extremely lucky that we are on the end of the decision. Posting crap like this is what actually annoys me more than the decision!

1-0 is never comfortable.

It wasn't a free kick that led to the goal.
It was a terrible decision to award them a penalty.
We also probably should have had a penalty.
Fixture list is shocking.

The above is nothing new, consistent bias decisions against Spurs is not a new thing but we don't help ourselves.

Son is injured at Half time - ask why? - Playing too many games.
Kane looked shattered at the end - again playing too many minutes.

How long have Spurs been crying out for a second striker, yet not one in sight? Before we play the victim card, we need to look in the mirror and say we should have buried this game a long time before the awful decisions.

The news that Son's injured would've ruined my mood had we won, now it just compounds the misery. The only thing that could enrage me further is if the twats in charge come out and say "we had another look and decided it shouldn't have been a penalty after all".

I honestly hope the managers get together next week and refuse to put out a team to play before something is done about this.
I was just thinking now but I bet some coaches don't.

United and Solskjaer for one

The fucking freekick prior to it was a travesty, fucking fuck anybody who claims the ref is following the rules and not his fault, he's a fucking moron.

What a joke. They have ruined the sport.

Hodgson is exactly right - its the simplest law its handball if your seeking advantage they can go over and look the screen if they want to - we are three games into the season penalty after penalty that are farcical

Its killing the spectacle and it has to change the FA SHOULD have the balls to bin the rule and FIFA can go amuse themselves

The thing that really hurts is that we should have buried the game long before this nonsense decision.
Surely not a single spurs fan anywhere was comfy at 1-0, that same narrative of being stung late in a game at home is the real frustration for me.
It doesn’t matter what sort of absolute howling fucking lunacy leads to the late equaliser, we have to be killing games off where we dominate start to finish!!

I now want my team to spend all week practicing flicking and heading the ball into opponents arms, do ten times in a game we're bound to get a couple of penalties.
I'd go so far as to say they'd be utterly negligent not to. Oh and by the way, appeal for everything.

Don't think I've ever been so angry after a game of football. What pisses me off most is that there is zero accountability from officials, they never have to explain their awful decisions and anyone who dares question them gets sent off or fined. This has always been the case and has somehow got worse with VAR.

Making up stupid rules like this gives them scope to call decisions either way and lets them influence results in certain teams favour.

It’s an absolute joke.
Actually the rules give them less scope then before. There is not much of a conspiracy that can be based on this rule that couldn't before.

I also don't think any of our claims were Pens, because 'objectively' the hands were in positions either 'forming a natural silhouette' and the hands well bellow shoulders.

In fact the problem is that the rule is just so random, and you can't play football with your hands always against your sides. It's just absurd.
