I'm always a bit twitchy about this one. Half my family are Geordies, and for every Teddy Sheringham hat trick, or Timothee Atouba exocet, there's a Temuri Ketsbaia and a 7-1 thrashing.

I'd like to think we're growing sufficiently into the season to be able to see 3 points relatively comfortably.

Steve Bruce said that both Jamal Lewis and Saint Maximin are doubts for today’s game

I want to see Newcastle hammered because they beat us last season with that Joelinton winner at home. Slags.

Match day morning, sunlight kissing the pitch a little more with every passing minute. Autumn mist slowly ascending, dew still glistening on each green needle, every one standing upright in anticipation of the impending battle. From the tenebrous hallway that leads to the barracks emerges a ashen haired figure, wafting towards the arena, indistinguishably murmuring in a Galician timbre. He stares at the magnificent galliform guarding the gantry and, puffing his chest out, roars ‘today, we are intelligent ****s’.

What makes you say that? We have won 3 out of 3 since Everton. Confidence is getting higher. Performances haven't been great, no, but winning is all that matters. We have players who can win it regardless.
We've look weak centrally both in midfield and defence, we conceded a poor goal against simple movement from Ings and again on Thursday. With PEH possibly (no news yet) that'd conceivably even more brittle through the middle, where Newcastle are probably quite strong.

I see what you're saying. I don't expect us to keep clean sheets at the moment, but we still have enough about us going forward to score more than them.

Fingers crossed we take our chances then.

With the volume of games we e got at the moment I really don’t care about the quality of our football, we just have to win.

You seem to be on one this morning, tit for tat ratings and comments like this. That activity stuck your account under review so maybe give it a rest eh?
Happy to take this private as I find this quite flamatory given the last 48 hours.

Two posts, and one was in jest. I find this over reactionary and when have I ever posted anything in malice towards yourself? Again private if you wish as not to offend anyone reading this thread.
I deleted my post before I saw your reply as I didn’t want to go into it, but I was more referring to the misuse of the spam button towards posts that weren’t spam in other threads. I’ll leave it at that as I don’t want to sully this thread. Also, I can’t PM you as you limit who views your profile apparently.
