I just get this feeling we are going to be a complete mess. I really hope I'm wrong. But I just get that vibe.

yeah me too. I also think that the winner of this game gets fifth spot even with 8 games to play. If we lose that’s champions league done for real this time.

I might just listen on the radio and then decide about a Now TV subscription again. If I have the channels and our form continued I will watch loads of matches and be miserable.

So they've dropped 4 points from their last 5 games and we've dropped 13. The break was nice while it lasted but it's time to get reeled back in.

Just looking at that form guide brings back that depressing feeling of how bad we actually were pretty much from the start of December onwards. Kind of put that to the back of my mind during this enforced break.

Suppose its easier to go into this game with zero expectations barring expecting to lose and not much to have changed in past three months. Yes we have lot of key players back from injury but on other side of coin the massive weakness at right back and not having a defensive midfielder still exist.

I feel the opposite - feels like it's a new season with a new manager. All players fit. And imo we still have one of the best teams on paper in the league. Man Utd about equally good though I'd say. Still feel weirdly optimistic that we'll win this one.

What normally happens when we feel like this!?

FYI

It is the “million-dollar question”, as one individual close to Manchester United puts it. Can Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba play in the same team to full effect?
Indications are that the answer will not be found at Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, at least. Pogba last played on Boxing Day and though he has trained well since lockdown eased, United are understood to be working on a starting XI without the Frenchman.
Jose Mourinho is the first manager preparing for United after the restart and the match in north London presents a huge occasion on the Premier League’s return. Pogba has not faced Mourinho since their combustible relationship came to an end at United but plans, at this stage, are for other midfielders to start the encounter.
Some sources close to United say Pogba needs to earn his way back into a team that went 11 matches unbeaten prior to the coronavirus outbreak, while there are obvious fitness considerations given will have not played competitively in 176 days at time of kick-off. Others point to the fact United may need insurance in midfield against quick Tottenham counter-attacks.

I think we can probably throw pre COVID form out of the window to an extent, so wouldn't get too worried about that. I think we'll see some unpredictable results between now and the end of the season.

That said, I still can't see us winning and fear that 5th place will then be gone as soon as we restart.
