Isnt it black and white? If Sterling isnt bought down by Hugo, he has dived?
Exactly. With keepers I was always under the impression any touch without touching the ball was a penalty. Disgraceful officiating.

Need him to step up with Kane out, he usually does to be fair to him but he really hasn’t do far this time
TBF he normally plays centrally when Kane is out, but for whatever reason Jose has kept him out wide. Think switching Son and Lucas would help

We have held them, but I don't expect many Spurs fans to feel optimistic about this. Game after game our plan Is to defend desperately and deeply, then play long balls in the hope that one of the speed merchants will conjure something out of nothing.
Meanwhile everyone's midfield overruns our non-existent one. We play four or five attackers who offer nothing when we don't have the ball, even against the Manchester Cities of this world. Plus we have to pray really hard each time Aurier of some of the other slow/untrustworthy defenders attempts to actually defend.
And then all we're left with is Jose`s funny faces and antics, pretending that there's some kind of conspiracy by the whole world against him.Which is beyond tiresome. The pleasure of watching a modern, tactically astute, creative team has completely gone.
Or maybe it`s just me.
By the way, we were lucky not to give away a second penalty. Or, you never know, they may re-examine and have City take a penalty at the start of the second half. VAR Is getting more ridiculous by the day.
Winks was our best player by a mile, but it would be a miracle if he can hold the fort on his own in midfield for another 45 minutes. All four attackers anonymous, but you can't expect them to do anything without any service . I expect both NDombele and Lamela to feature sooner than later.

Keep it 0-0 for as long as we can and hope they get tired as they had a tough game in the week

Enjoying the passion from Jose.

I feel his teams perform at their best when he seems to have an irrational hatred for the rest of the league.

Ndombele please.

may as well take Moura or Alli off and get someone in midfield who can get on the ball and run it like Lo Celso can. every time the ball goes up top we lose it anyway.

How have City not scored yet. Yet we could go on for 3 days and not score. Haven’t done anything offensively this half.
Because our front three can’t hold onto the ball for more than two seconds.

Son has to go up top, so ineffective out wide at the moment. Whilst we are lucky to go in level and havent had a shot on target yet I do think we can win this.

Sterling is lucky to be on the pitch for me.

Listen, I know Son hasn't been great but why are people always obsessed with subbing off our only regular scorers? I would swap him with Moura personally and let Lucas have a run at the fullbacks.

yep. Got to keep Son on, more likely to score a 20 yarder than anyone else on the pitch. Also yes to swapping him and Moura

Lo Celso can run with the ball, we’re mainly bypassing him. The ball is sailing over him. Anyone else in the midfield is more likely to pass to an opponent.

Play Lamela up top- at least the fucker’s going to scrap for every single thing and can bring others into play.

Moura is not a CF- it would work better if he played with a strike partner so he could burst onto the second balls, just like the semi final
against Ajax. But he offers nothing as a lone striker

This is utter shite. No attacking play at all.

turgid doesn’t do our play justice it’s worse than that.

thank god we have signed Lo Celso up though the one bright spark in this team

Feel for Tangana been asked to play left back again after his struggles there against Watford

With Son's form, he needs to be dropped for Lamela. Lamela should just play upfront. His harassment of the defenders will be great.
