against city’s B-team.
It really wasn't a B team from City, in fact, plenty of their fans were saying it was a much stronger team than they were expecting.
And I've just seen that our average age was 23, theirs was 26.

We weren't playing our first team either, so just enjoy the fact that we beat the "best team in the country" and broke their unbeaten run.

Another great thing about yesterdays crowd was that they actually went to the match to watch football and make a noise , at PL matches the 2nd half starts with a half empty stadium, not just the hospitaity seats but all over the stadium, wasn't like that yesterday , must have all been teetotallers.

Can someone please tell me who did the flick to Deki before Timo’s goal? It brought the crowd to their feet.

We were missing Son, Odobert and Maddison. Van de Ven and Romero went off too.

There's also the fact we are far from City's level and are still developing.

Don't downplay the victory. fans from other clubs will do that. We shouldn't

Around us, there were many more parents with children than at Premier League games so less drinking in the bar and the enthusiasm of the kids was great.

I think the regulars are a part of the problem with the atmosphere, a lot of them are so fucking miserable and negative, and only want to sing songs about Sol Campbell and that lot down the road. A lot of people who can’t go every week make the most of it when they are there - as long as there is a group there who get the songs going of course

we said the same think going home

if we cheered on every player regardless think how much better they would be.

Close all the bars at half time would help with atmosphere, could start the 2nd half with a decent amount of people in the stadium. Any one with access to full match replays go and watch the start of the 2nd half against West Ham and listen to the comments by Rob Daly then watch the start of 2nd in City match, totally different crowd atmoshere, like I said before must have been a lot of non drinkers in at the City game.

Yeah. Guy sitting next to me says why do people get excited about corners. We never score from corners. Literally two minutes later we score from the next corner.
Where were you sitting because that could very well have been my son? (And if you heard someone say "stupid Kulusevski being short for a corner like that" then that was me.)

Agreed! Even in the Champions League against Slovan Bratislava City put out this team which is not too far from what they fielded against us, Haaland aside. Seven of that team started against us, Akanji was supposed to but got injured in the warm-up and Gvardiol joined the match at half time. Doku was injured and so couldn't be selected. Nobody was calling that a youth team or a B team it was just Manchester City. Suddenly when they lose it's a different narrative...
