Win and not only do we hand the title to the Arsenal, but the possibility of Champion's League football could also see Tanguy return and ask for a pay rise.😱

Tonight will be very similar to the Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool game. We will have loads of the ball and do little with it - with Son isolated at CF unable to hold the ball up or get into any space. Decky and Johnson will be forced outwide and any crosses will be collected by the City defence. They will hit us for set pieces and focus counter attacks down our left, exposing Royal, Skipp or whoever else may find themselves at LB.

Whether you want us to win or lose, the latter is inevitable. We're simply too easy to play against with this current squad and line-up. We should beat Sheffield United away and wrap up 5th which will be a good season - with much for Ange improve on next year.

Its a completely different prospect if we really had something to play for

We don't. Villa are not going to lose on Sunday

Although I can certainly see us winning tonight, Villa losing on Sunday and us completely shitting the bed against Sheffield United.
I can definitely see Villa losing on Sunday. Not many teams want to play Palace at all at the minute let alone at Selhurst Park.

It would’ve been a totally different prospect had Villa won last night, though. I can’t seen much more than 15-20% holding views like @Trix which is win every game no matter what. As it stands it’s a lot more evenly split.

Crystal Palace have won five of their last six matches, whereas Villa have lost four, won once, and drawn once of their last six. So why do you think Villa are not going to lose?

I can completely see Villa loosing on Sunday tbh. Palace look very good at the moment and their star players are very much on form. Villa last night looked unconvincing and Glasner is a clever manager.

100% if it was a straight shootout and if we win tonight we get CL it is a lot more of a different question to ask.

I don't just want us to lose. I want it to be fucking obvious that we've thrown the game.
Clear as daylight.

Mateta will score a hat-trick if Carlos and Torres don't massively improve their form. Martinez varies from perfect to shit so you never know with him. Plus they have to contend with Wharton, Eze and Olise. Nobody figured out Glasner yet, Palace clear favorites at home IMO.

Not sure if I agree with Villa not losing on Sunday, I'd say that they will most likely lose away against an inform Palace on Sunday.

I've given this some thought - and here is where I end up - I will treat this like any other match. At the end of the day, what I really want is for Spurs to play well. That is really all I want every match.

If we win - I'll be happy.

If we lose, I'll be satisfied.

If we draw - I be pretty f'ing mad.

If I had to pick a winner I’d go Palace at home but think Villa will scrape a draw. They obviously could win it as well but don’t think they will.

Because it's a different opinion than yours? You can see there are a good number in here that hold a different view on this to yourself. Are we all just trying to take the moral high ground or do we actually hold this "controversial" view that we want to win every game we play?

ah ok its like that and i expect the same consistency now.....

IN MY OPINION, fanbases such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc would not want to win the game tonight if it meant arch rivals winning the league.

IN MY OPINION, i could more so understand if we'd never reached UCL before and experienced that.

IN MY OPINION, winning a game tonight would have more of a negative impact than a positive impact for the fanbase.

IN MY OPINION, wanting to get a result tonight which doesn't impact our position or future, as opposed to our opposition then winning the league is slightly strange and curious.

if its 1-1 with 10 seconds left the ball needs to be put in our own net. until that point give it everything to win.

Actually think we'll have fuck all of the ball like the cup game. We barely got out of our half.

I've opened a poll to see what the numbers are. I honestly don't know which way it will go but I'd wager it will be a significant number on both sides of the fence. Certainly enough that it'll prove there's no right or wrong view on this, and whilst neither side can understand the other, neither will be a deluded or minority opinion.

I would assume it will favour the win for Spurs but sort of what kicked this whole thing off is that i said i hadn't spoken to anyone "in real life" (outside of the internet) that wants us to win
