It's taken me something like 1hr 40m to catch up with this thread.

I bailed out when I realised my laptop was about a minute behind.

Every possible emotion in here tonight, good bad and some ugly.

What a night ! Up there with the best of them. Special mentions to Winks, Siss, Rosie, Hugo, oh sod it - all of them.

All the boys were valiant - and the crowd played it's part with a passion.

Did you enjoy Niall Quinn choking ón the stadium and our performance. At least he tried to be neutral, some of the time.

Re VAR reviews and handballs in the penalty area: When reviewing, refs really ought to consider carefully the mens rea element of the incident otherwise we may end up with absurd results, such as in the cases of Danny Rose and TAA, in which the refs erred in both decisions, IMHO of course.;)

Couldn't tell where it came from but the noise on the telly was amazing! Thanks for doing your part, chap!
This was on my bucket list before surgery next Thursday. I literally celebrated on one leg! Will never forget this night for a LONG time. Need to rewatch the full game at some point, too.

Was that near the away fans behind the goal? I could see something happening but I was too far away!

Yup!

Stewards got heavy handed and the punches were thrown. A kid got hurt (i think) and then it went off more. Saw a dad taking the kid out.

Bad bad tactics by the stewards/security. Got it badly wrong and then had to leave!

ballsy performance, everything you want to see. Best atmosphere for a home game i can recall since that game against Sevilla about 10 years ago........loud, raucous, amazing

absolutely gutted for Harry though

Commentary on radio particularly BBC London ? commentary on TNT by Guy Mowbary so bias towards Cieth it was embarrassing impartiality when it comes to it goes out of the window and let's not start with Sky Sports commentary it's like the opposition start with a twelfth man btw: Steve Nash on TNT Spurs supporting legend gives us some balance ?.

Thank the lord for Poch & the boys socking it to most of them. So ecstatic with tonight's result bouncing off walls but like the rest of you seeing Kane injured and hobbling off was a knife through the heart in our top 4 bid this season but seeing Son & Moura's cameo for Kane kept us fighting and remember without Kane last time round we went on a terrific run so the belief must be to continue in a way it let the Son shine in as well.

Our defence today was first class tonight which matched our fans vocals who listening to them brought goosebumps through the screen to be there must have been a different level bet De Bruyne enjoyed it lol f-ing love this club and although I expect a tricky 2nd leg where parking several buses might be in order through thick & thin as always COYS!!! ✊

Gutting about Kane but what a night!

This stadium is incredible, it feels like a dream right now. It elevates us, no doubt about it. Need to make this a fortress, and it's been a good start!

Brilliant penalty save, everyone played well. Tense and competitive game and Sonny's quality was the difference. Brilliant. COYS.

Don't know if it was just me but Hugo saving the penalty (albeit early) made me believe it was our night

It was more like he knew he had to say positive things and it choked him to do so with the slight hope that Citeh would turn it round. Nothing worse than a bitter Gooner giving faint praise

Quinn thought the penalty was a bit harsh and picked up on a lot of the dark arts from City.

He was saying stuff but he wasn't happy having to say it.

Had a walk to the top of the South stand before the match.

The stewards looked like right roid heads trying to make examples of people. That's where a lot of the unrest started.

The boy was sat near me. He wasn't hurt but was having an epileptic fit. The dad was trying to get him out. The boy was worried for his dad as it got heated with the stewards, that's where it all stemed from I think.
Both were ok as confirmed with his family. Don't like seeing that at a game.

Timing didn't help as it was bang when Kane went off injured!
