Nah, there's no pointing baiting Liverpool fans and then showing we're still pissed off by a previous injustice.
I've found it much funnier to just agree with them, knocks them off balance so much and they even end up agreeing that the first shouldn't have been a card

I've just seen Lucas Bergval's first yellow on the highlights for the first time and he literally never touched him, Diaz dived to get him booked. Wow!

Wait, did she just put a 90 minute curse on Salah? He was pretty shit after that.

She's a witch! Burn h.......

Actually no, put her on the payroll and take her to all our matches to do the magic nose/finger waggle spell at our opponent's best player. 👃🤙

Porro was stupid putting his hands in his back - asking for trouble.
True, but it doesn’t get away from the fact that was simulation.
So blatant, to win a penalty. Funny Sky never had a “potential pen” as part of their analysis. I wonder why….

I think Johnson contributed to the win. Much like Kulu, he supported the team but was crowded out by good Liverpool defending at key times. But he never stopped.
I don't agree with slagging off anyone after a win like that especially when you see the two players in question have ran their socks off.

If you look at our goal, you can clearly see that Johnson was on the byline and drew a defender towards him when we won the ball back. This helped open up the gap for Solanke to run into and for Porro to find that pass.

You have to look at what any player does off the ball, that in truth this is as important as what a player does with the ball

Regarding his worth, I think (without looking) that Johnson is our top goalscorer this season?

As for Son, he needs a rest in my humble opinion, and he's not the only one.

I just watched the 5 minute highlights on sky and if you hadnt seen the game you'd swear it was as one sided as the 6-3 game. Also looking at it back now calmly you have to say that some of the chances that Liverpool created and wasted were actually pretty decent chances but a mixture of poor finishing, great goalkeeping and excellent blocks saved the day. Still cant quite believe that Porro missed those chances though, especially the second one!

Had that been a straight red, the club would have appealed and the FA would have rescinded it.

In my view if that was the case (or any case similar) then the offending diving player should receive that red.

This would stop this diving issue.

When Allison fumbled the ball and Bergvall caught him out, with Porro missing two subsequent chances for us to score at nil nil, I think that was a bit of dick-measuring on his part after seeing the ball-playing ability of our young keeper but it went horribly wrong for Allison. Love that, just wish we scored from it too.

P.s. I’d post this on the kinsky thread but I’m still banned from the transfer forum for the apparently unforgivable crime of posting a picture in the ITK discussion thread something like 10 years ago, no prior warnings or infractions and no benefit of the doubt for that slip up either.

The beauty in this clip is in how many different things are going on in such short, 4-pass clip.

1. Liverpool not pressing up.
2. Dragusin, still quickly moves the ball to Porro
3. Johnson is hugging the touchline, waiting to be released (that pass was on too)
4. Porro making the chip into the perfect area
5. Solanke making the run, and shouldering off Konate to get control of the ball
6. The literal moment when you see the light goes on for Bergvall, and he makes the final sprint to the middle of the box
7. Solanke laying off a perfectly weighted pass
8. VVD lunging to get a foot in
9. Bergvall hitting the shot, and threading between VVD's lunge, and Alisson to put the ball neatly in the near post.

Posting a picture of your new lawnmower was definitely off-topic…

When I watched it (not seen it again) it looked as if Allison tripped Bergvall.

Jamie Redknapp made me laugh last night when he stopped Michael Dawson and said the first incident with Diaz was irrelevant.

Well Jamie it suits you to say that but it's most certainly very relevant.

If the referee had got both decisions correct Bergvall would still of been on the pitch ( on one yellow booked for the second incident)

The very fact that so much has been made of this without acknowledging the first mistake enough just lends to the sickening bias we see towards Liverpool.

But you also have to credit Ange for how Spence is playing because no manager before him was able to get these performances.

We know 2% of what goes on behind the scenes and all indications are that Spence had to reshape his attitude to be the long term player the manager needs him to be. That obviously took time and the conditioning for that intensity would take time as well. I'm giving Ange the benefit of the doubt on this one. While he could have come into the fold a bit earlier, I would think that is a case of weeks, not months. If he came in earlier would we have seen the same player? Would he have gotten an injury?

He was very good preseason, where did you get the 'indications' from and what has influenced your opinion his attitude changed in a 'case of weeks, not months'?

Tbf its not necessarily a dive as he saw the challenge coming and had to get off his feet to avoid contact, but I don't think its a booking either.

On top of that (not sure if it’s true or not) when they showed ange post match analysis they ignored what Ange said about the law of the game has changed if advantage is played the ref does not need to book said player unless it is deemed cynical which is definitely up for debate in my opinion the Greek lad overrun his touch giving bergvall a chance to slide in which he was very slightly late.
