Coming into the matchday threads after a loss is like being a kid and creeping out your room and sitting on the top of the stairs listening to your mum and dad shagging in the kitchen, getting sad then slowly going creeping back to bed.
Is where I thought it was heading

Well, to probably piss off a lot on here, I weirdly enjoyed that game and as I wasn't expecting us to win it, I'm going to break from the SC norm and focus on the positives.

I thought Kulu was incredible, Spence was very good and Bergvall looked good again in his little cameo.
The support was good and even at 5-1 down, I still thought we'd score more goals.
I also thought that both fullbacks seemed to stay wider, which is what a lot on here have been crying out for.
Gray played well again, Dragusin is better with every game and I also thought Sarr was good, although clearly needs a rest.
Solanke is such a hard worker, it's nice to see him score again and get to double figures.

So yes, we lost 3-6 but with a full strength team to pick from, that could've actually been a very different result.
We kept going and fighting and I'd rather lose 3-6, than lose 0-3.

Obviously, there were some things that pissed me off but there are enough miserable ****s on here recently, so I'm going to be positive for a change.

Kulusevski is the best player in the league, bar none. 😁
For a game that we conceded 6, I thought three of our back four were good. Gray looks so comfortable on the ball, I can’t wait to see him in midfield. I thought Spence was decent as well. I would love to see him on the right so he doesn’t have to cut back in side on to his stronger foot. Also porro has looked poor for a while. We just seem to lack leaders.

Both our captain and vice captain today just went missing when the going got tough. Biss also went into hiding. The senior players aren’t doing enough.

I got home and my boy asked me how shit it was and I said it was a shit score but a decent game, and we have some brilliant young talent but unfortunately they aren’t being led by anyone.
Also we were very naive not to sit tight in the first half injury time having just got back into the match.

This fan base is totally fucked atm. Getting 6, fucking 6 past you at home is a fucking disgrace. I don’t care if you’re playing the best team in the world. Total embarrassment and don’t dare put this at the feet of Levy. On the players and a lot on Ange, I’m really starting to think he isn’t cut for the job sadly as I really like him. Especially after the United performance he simply does not seem to learn.
I tend to agree with you, sadly

I think what people are clinging to, is that if we had Vic, VDV, Romero then we might have only conceded 2 and won the game 😃
I suspect we would have conceded more than 2 regardless of who played. The death or glory tactic doesn't allow for defensive prowess.

His passing is so basic, though. Can’t count the number of times he turns out of pressure, there’s a quick switch of play on that could get us moving but he either can’t see it or can’t play the pass.

It's because he's thick.

Finding solace in scoring 3 vs liverpool is really scraping the barrel. It wasn't a competitive game. They were out of sight. That was a humiliating tonking we've just taken at home. No fortress that new whl. Taking the edge off being well beaten by chelsea and pool at home doesn't mean we haven't been well beaten.

We wouldn't have conceded 6 notwithstanding the fact they were fresh and rested and we were running on empty compared to Liverpool.

Not sarcasm today, he was everywhere and was the main tackling player for us without a doubt.

Shame his job isn’t to be everywhere then isn’t it.
He’s meant to be sat in front of the back 4 offering protection.
And you’re right, he’s everywhere. Just not where he should be.

If we continue to sign and play players like him, we’ll continue to go nowhere as a club.

Nope I'm not having that.
He had a good game today.

I think we make a lot of players being rested, what it boils down to is that we don't have a decent squad.

We can rest players in games and have done but inevitably we drag them on for games. Too many players not able to step up.

Looked up quite a few players and minutes played seems a bit of an excuse to me a lot of the Liverpool players had played more minutes than our team.
