Just got back from the game. We didn’t deserve to lose that one and showed a lot of fight in that last 30 mins, but ultimately if you concede a sloppy goal and can’t hit a barn door with numerous chances you aren’t going to win matches.

Thought Lo Celso did well ( apart from that miss; seemed easier to score ), and after being shocked at Tananga being given a debut in a match like this was impressed overall. Don’t know how he’d fare in a CB 2, but looks very promising.

I was yelling at the TV everytime Dele got the ball and gave up possession (which was a lot) but as I’ve had time to reflect I really think players weren’t offering him anything when he had the ball. In the last few minutes he had the ball and held his hands out asking where everyone was and then had to beat 3 players to keep the ball. Did anyone else think this as well or am I being too kind to Dele?

Know I said I wasn’t gonna comment further, but I’ve just read Sky’s account of the game. Frickin heck - were they watching the same game? Just goes to show how skewed they are towards ‘winner’ teams; same bias as Man U days ...

Yeah, and also it's like they are expecting Mourinho to have come in, implemented everything he wanted, with no signings whatsoever, and be back to the old Spurs within 2 months. Not gonna happen.

Funny that the scouse even said, the team is done and needs 4-5 signings to get back to where they were, but at the same time questioning the tactics that are being played. We wouldn't need the signings if we were playing well.

And I expected better than Neville that saying Norwich fans are happy being bottom because at least they're trying to play football. Pretty sure they'd love to be an established premier league side with a bit of long ball thrown in.

Robertson bad challenge on Tanganga and he also kicked out at Toby. Should have been 2yellows. But as usual never mentioned. Shocking.

I thought Gary Neville was ridiculously harsh claiming Liverpool were by far the better team overall.

First half yes, but we had much the better of the second half and a draw would of been a fair result.

Starting to think he's getting worse with his analysis.
Agreed. He’s been sucked into the vacuum and can’t see differently. He’s always been a ‘red’

No, I had the same thought after someone replied to me saying he should be subbed. It's a fair point really. Can't get the ball to players hiding behind red shirts.

This reinforces the fact that the boy never hides.

Save the blood pressure man. The world has already agreed to hand the title to those arrogant prick of scousers for this season. All media and pundits are queuing up to kiss their butts and lick their balls.
Yeah They're totally overrated and been so lucky to win for so long. They certainly shouldn't be 16 points clear at the top.

i thought overall we played well. Soaked up the pressure in the first half and defended better than other recent matches. Unlucky second half with poor finishing but we made the chances and could have won this.Lots of promise, Lo Celso, Lamela and Tantanga need more first team games and we need a target man.....not enough height up front today.

I don't want to keep banging the Skipp drum, because he could end up being out of his depth, but he had a great preseason like Tanganga, so I'd like to see how he gets on, maybe against Middlesbrough.

Just on the train home from match. I have to say it was one of the better team performances I’ve seen from us in a while. Almost everyone gave everything they had and had we been more clinical should have had at least a draw.

If I had to be critical Rose looked miles off the pace and should have gone off at half time really. Hasn’t played in a while and it showed (although you can tell he was frustrated with himself).

The majority put in a real shift though - more performances like the second half and hopefully things will improve.

On another note Tanganga should be getting a lot more starts based on today.

Jesus christ I've set the liverpool fans off on Twitter by saying Robertson should have been sent off for his high challenge. Literally cant say a word about them or their players. They're a bunch of fucking snowflakes.

Would you keep running off the ball if you knew you had a 3 in 100 chance of actually receiving the ball in an attacking position?

People need to stop making out he's fucking Pirlo.

Best thing would have been to play him up front so he could occupy the CBs and threaten the goal.

Let's hope once we get a reasonably fit squad Mourinho doesn't allow himself to continue to be mugged off.

yeah the miss by him was at my end but from where I sat Son’s for me was worse. He just lent back rather than whipping it in the far post.

I agree. There was so many times our players weren’t helping each other out and they were isolated. I thought they were all meant to be mates. Didn’t look like they were today.
