I dont know who Mourinho expected to get hold of the ball in the middle. Winks, I suppose but that aint happening. Put Dier on for Winks, Lo Celso for Eriksen and Lamela for Aurier. If he doesnt make a change we will get rolled in the 2nd half.

3 years ago we were far better than Liverpool. We wouldn’t have had to rebuild if we had steadily upgraded the squad

If you think our rebuild will be anything along the lines of Liverpool as long as Enic are around I have bad news for you

I could winner this ten times.... Correct on all counts.

It's amazing how bad we have become, how predictable we have become, how non committed we have become and how piss poor all over the pitch over the past 18 months.
I hate to say this, but we look like we will go through years of mediocrity, unless we get bought and a huge investment is made.

We were so close, but the powers that be, saw it but did nothing. That's criminal IMO

Much better performance than expected. Only noticeably poor performance has been from Rose.

Watching us is like watching a league 2 team at best, sunday league at worst! It's just so bad!

Well in my mind the goal was a fair goal, but I do wonder if they'd have at least been checking it for a good while longer if it was us who scored in the exact same manner, in a desperate attempt to find justification to disallow it. Otherwise, given our form, we haven't done too bad, following the likely instructions that were received. Huge lack of composure though by some. I was really willing to give Dele time, see if he could refind the magic, and it looked like he might be doing that for a moment ... but it just isn't happening, he hardly seems like a footballer anymore.

This is basically what we're gonna see with Mourinho at the helm. It may very well get better over time, but in the end, it's always going to be cynical and risk-minimizing football. Should have just written this season off with Mason as a caretaker and then gone for the likes of Nagelsmann or someone like that in the summer.

People getting irate at the manager, digging out players and so on - there is a reason these two teams are separated by 30 odd points.

Add to that the fact that according to anyone thinking pre match, that we were getting anything from this game were deluded why on gods green earth are you getting so wound up?

Funny stuff.

Our midfield really is dogshite. They dont press, they shown no aggression and none of them want the ball. Only one that has shown anything offensively is lucas moura. Depressing how little we have offered, how many we have behind the ball but still how likely they look like getting through us.

Tanganga showing what it’s actually like to be a defender who can defend. Rest of the play has been diabolical but I think Mourinho trusted winks to get a hold of the ball and pass it. Unfortunately seeing here that he’s just not capable.

Expecting Dele to keep hold of a ball is like expecting rain not to be wet. He just gives it away time and time again, but if he pops it through someone’s legs in the process that seems to be enough for him.
I have come to completely loathe him as a player. It makes my sphincter clinch when I see him on the team sheet.

Jose clearly sees something none of us do. It’s suicice to gamble his reputation on Dele and a Eriksen and Rose and Aurier. I just don’t get it.

No midfield means you get this. Dele brutal again not just today but it’s game after game after game it’s doing my fucking head in. Eriksen is doing his best impression of the invisible man.
Exactly Ali Eriksen Moura and Son it’s a big issue you basically have a 6-4 formation
