Jose got it tactically spot on. 2nd half we were so good and we didnt let them play their game at all today. Their goal shouldnt have counted and Son and GLC should have scored.

Disappointed with the loss.

Did not expect myself to be heartened by a defeat, but weirdly I am. Plenty to build on, the bright spots looking bright, and the weaknesses pretty obvious. Yeah, I'm not at all as disappointed as I prob should be.

Who fucking knew that if you played GLC and Lamela you would at least create some chances. How the fuck they didn’t start the game is beyond me.

No more fucking Rose or Eriksen in spurs shirts again pls. Even Aurier seems he cares today

We're playing like we're trying to see out the one nil loss! Slowly hiding up the pitch paying sideways. :banghead:
Seriously? Were you watching since the 65th minute?

We were much better after the subs came on.
Engaged Liverpool a lot more, battled much harder and who'd of thought it - we started causing them problems.

Intensity is a massive problem that needs addressing but Lamela and Lo Celso bring that plus their respective quality.

We we’re great. Liverpool should’ve had a man sent off and we had 3-4 great chances that we blew. Lo Celso puts that in the net 99/100 times.

People need to stop praising Liverpool as much as they do, they’re not that great. Best team in a league of shite teams. We deserved at least a draw today, maybe a win, but Liverpool’s ridiculous luck won’t run out for a while.

GD, I liked what I saw in general in that half. If Bruno was at the game, hopefully he'll be on board.

Good effort lads, should have got something but hey, I was expecting an embarrassment tonight.

Lots of good performances out there today, a competent ref/var and/or Son and Lo Celso taking their chances could have been so much different, but at least something to build on.

That was okay. Should have taken at least a point. Unfortunately our mentality is so weak right now.
Rose should not play, Eriksen should not play. Dele could do with the bench too.
Positives: Japhet seems to be alert and ready, Lamela and GLC should start games.

With Ndombele, a new CDM and maybe someone who knows how to score we should be a good outfit.

Well that was encouraging. We clearly deserved to win that game, second half we dominated from start to finish and had multiple chances to score, just needed a cool head infront of goal.

Have to say that I’m done with Eriksen, if he has no intention of staying here then it’s time he is relegated to the reserves for the rest of the year, every time he plays he looks like he doesn’t want to get injured. As for Rose, his days are done, his legs are done.

Well done to Tanganga on what I thought was a fantastic debut against the two best wingers in the league, Sanchez was excellent and the rest of the side worked their socks off second half. We have to maintain that type of energy.

If we create and play with that passion from here on in, we’ll make top 4. Liverpool are ‘the best team in the world’. We stressed them and stretched them. Yes, the result could’ve been different Re our chances taken. But I’m proud of the battling nature of our side today. Genuinely think we made a brilliant effort.

Not even disappointed after this game. I thought we'd get battered but we showed guts and very enjoyable football in the second half. I think Mourinho is on to something tactically and Tanganga looked very good.
