Football is a very simple game made complicated by idiots. I think that's where we are right now if I'm honest. Fundamentals have been pushed to the back of the importance list in order to make this brand of football work. The gap between our back line and everyone else is far too big. The space out wide in full back areas is far too big. It's really that simple. Every game we can pick out individuals "that could have done better" but the fact remains it's the same issues every game and they are never addressed.
Completely agree, like a lot of things in modern society, football tactics are getting ridiculously overcomplicated, heck City scored a goal against Chelsea from a route one goalkeeper hoof up to Haaland, it is and always has been a fairly simple game.

We are getting undone under Ange by teams passing into the humongous spaces behind our fullbacks who may as well be on the moon and in behind our awfully coached incredibly high back line, it’s absolutely amateur hour regardless of injuries.

I so liked Ange as a person and wanted his to work but injuries or no injuries his tactics are killing us and we are now in a relegation battle so he absolutely has to go asap but mostly Levy has to go.

It's so cynical as they are using the head injury protocol to con the referee time after time.
It is a blight on the game. Any sort of challenge for a header, the player of Team A loses it goes down clutching his head to stop the attacking momentum of Team B. It is being coached into players as part of "game management"

What will stop it is taking a leaf from the NFL. Any player who falls to the ground clutching his head, writhing in feigned pain must go through a concussion protocol before being allowed back on the field. And during that assessment period of 3 minutes or so his team play with 10 men. And maybe, just maybe, the league "manufacture" an assessment of a player in the early stages of initiating this protocol as having concussion so he must subbed 😉 OK, that won't happen but you all get my gist.

That would soon stop the bullshit.

And on top of that the ref's need to get a bloody grip of the game and book players quicker for time wasting. A few send offs due to second bookings for that will also have the desired result.

The fans all around the world have had a gut full of the soft cock fake injuries and time wasting.

Head injury = suspected concussion. They should have to go off and not play for three weeks just like rugby. That would stop it. Well rugby do a 10 minute assessment period but let’s just stick to three weeks.

Good idea. Would need to be minimum the rest of the game.

Could you imagine a 10 minute assessment period in the sport with a concussion sub allowed?

Guarantee it would become just another tactical opportunity for most teams.

Definitely has to mean to end of the game for the player, to stop them faking it.

As for goalkeepers going down constantly - maybe they could do with a 10 minute assessment period. Only way to stop it.

Shit for those with genuine injuries but the majority are just faking it most of the time.

Definitely need to see a couple of goalkeepers sent off for two yellows for time wasting.

In todays game - they were commenting on it after about 55 minutes, and the commentator said something along the lines of - he’s running the risk of a booking but it’s still a bit too early in the game for that.

That is absolutely bull.

Time wasting is time wasting. Whether in the 10th minute of the 90th.

Then to see the goalkeeper and ref laughing and joking with each before he finally booked him. Just boils by piss.

Make every home game an absolute nightmare for Levy. So bad, that he cannot even take his seat,

How? They can sing their little songs, they can boo him, and they can hold up banners. That’s all they can do.

He’s far enough away and secluded from most (thankfully) that nothing too serious can happen like it did with Everton a few years back. Would hate to see us become that club.

Anybody going too over the top, would get booted out and banned. I’m sure most don’t want that.

He isn’t going to sell.

He isn’t going to change the way he works because of a few protests or songs or banners.

It won’t achieve anything, other than making the place hostile, and putting more pressure on the players.

Honest question. What can the fans really do?
Some ideas I have seen (in ascending order of radical)

- Sign on to well written letter to Levy and the board.
- Become involved with the THST to lobby the club
- Boycotting the THFC store
-Jeer Levy at games
- Banner drops at the stadium
- Balloon drops at the stadium
- Fan walk outs at the stadium
- Pitch invasions
- Demonstrations at non football events - burning an NFL flag was mentioned
- Property damage

There are lots of things fans can do, it just needs to be organized and agreed upon and working towards a specific goal. If you don't believe it can be done, you've already lost.

I personally would be appalled at any of the last 2 suggestions on that list, and would distance myself from such a ‘fan base’ - and hope that all culprits would be arrested and charged accordingly, as well as being banned for life.

Pitch invasions - would need to be in huge numbers which just won’t happen given the potential ramifications on season ticket holders.

To be honest there are very few genuine ones and every one I've ever seen has been obvious straight away.

Why is son shaking hands with Vardy in the tunnel before the game? He is a **** of the highest order.

Had the misfortune of going yesterday….the first time since the Milan game. Just sat and watched with no passion at all…that’s what it’s come to mainly down to our mighty leader. Was sat in the north stand dead centre of the goal ….loads of tourists taking selfies and pics with their mates, not caring about the team or result but really can’t blame them as neither did I. Credit to the ref for booking their keeper for time wasting but the 80th minute is way too late. Fans screaming at the time wasting but that was totally on us for giving them the lead and if anything it should’ve been a lesson to our players in game management. The main thing that stuck out for me, and this has been said by many on many occasions, is the total lack of leadership. I knew it was bad but what I saw yesterday was unacceptable. Nothing is coming from the senior pros and that can’t go on. I take my hat off to the teenagers playing in the toughest league in the world and getting zero help. Some of those so called professionals really need to take a long hard look in the mirror, they should be ashamed of themselves.

I quite like the idea of getting a massive speech bubble sticker with the words 'F@*K off Levy!' printed and sticking it to the sandstone Cockerel at the main entrance to the stadium.

I don't see how Wells or Mason can be given the job.

They're part of Ange's coaching staff and part of the problem.
Yes they are but my point is that Matt Wells is senior assistant and if we use a coach to cover for however long, it will be him. . The thing with Ange is that he doesn’t move around clubs with a bunch of his mates. He gets new coaches in or works with the ones who are there. Not sure that’s good as he maybe needs a close ally who can tell him that he’s making an arse if it.
He has always said he won’t change so we will have to change him eventually. I think 3 prem lge wins will keep us up. Don’t think we will turn into an all conquering team when the better players return but at least we will have a better chance in the Europa. Elfsborg looked comfortable a few weeks ago but who knows now.

Every league game we’ve lost has been by one goal apart from the Liverpool game. When we’ve won, we’ve handed teams a spanking. Fine margins and our season could be very different. I’m still Ange in.

How can anyone disagree with this when the facts are clear to see - check the results.

Just rewatched the highlights and we could easily have been 4-0 up by halftime. Even 2nd half there were multiple big chances. The Gods are currently against us, but it will change eventually for the better.

I do remember having some big chances and at times there was the feeling that we were getting the better chances, however when I look at the stats -big chances created Spurs 2 Leicester 1, big chances missed Spurs 1 Leicester 0, XG Spurs 1.04 Leicester 1.56 there's no way to make me feel better than I did yesterday. I usually shrug of the losses easily and don't let them ruin my weekend, but yesterday I felt very grave for a long time. I hope it changes for the better but I don't expect it to massively. There are flaws in the way Ange wants the team to play and until he considers addressing them then the risk verses rewards will keep biting us.

Stats can be an absolute nonsense though - I mean if the stats say we only missed one big chance, yet we hit the bar twice - surely that alone is 2 missed big chances?
