Welcome to the Spurs vs Leicester Match Thread! COYS!
Totally agree.I’m probably alone in thinking this, but i see us as underdogs in this game. Indeed, Leicester should be embarrassed if they don’t win this. They have just about every possible advantage, minus it being an away game.
They come in after 8 days off. They have four or five players out compared to our 12. They will be fresh. Our boys could barely stand at the end of the Hoffenheim game…. And will have to go again 2 days later.
The conditions couldn’t be any more favorable to the opposition.
I know a lot of fans will be super angry at Ange if we don’t win. That’s fair and understandable. I just can’t adopt that mindset given context. In fact, I think it would be one of our best wins of the season if we are able to turn them over. But I suspect we will lose again.
Its a tough order to win on any given match day in the PL. Even with a fully fit. Fully rested squad. This is a steep mountain to traverse. Hoping they have enough in the tank to make it competitive, but won’t be remotely surprised or irate if they don’t. At least not at the players or the coaching staff. My anger is reserved for those behind the scenes who have nothing to help relieve the crisis we are in.
If we can't beat fucking Leicester we may as well just give up.I’m probably alone in thinking this, but i see us as underdogs in this game. Indeed, Leicester should be embarrassed if they don’t win this. They have just about every possible advantage, minus it being an away game.

But, context .......If we can't beat fucking Leicester we may as well just give up.
A bit? It could be Thursday night's 11 with Kinsky in place of Brandon and maybe Reggie. If none of Spence/Sarr/Bissouma are available it's going to be paper-thin bench as well.I’m dreading this game a bit.
Just don’t think we have the legs and energy, due to the obliterated squad and heavy schedule, to be at the levels required across 90 mins in the PL.
But, context .......
So you still think they'll score as many goals against us as they have in their last 7 games combined...Leicester are absolutely shite. They've only beaten Southampton away from home this season, they've lost 7 in a row & they've only scored 2 goals in that run. They've conceded in all apart from 1 of their games. Manager is falling out with players. I know the doctor Tottenham thing, but seriously, no excuse against this team.
Kinsky
Porro - Dragusin - Davies - Reguilon
Bentancur - Bergvall - Maddison
Kulu - Richy - Son
4-2
There’s no way we don’t give Vardy at least 2 clear breakaways. So you still think they'll score as many goals against us as they have in their last 7 games combined...
I’m sure we’ll adapt and play a quick defender to track him. It’s what any half decent coach would do.There’s no way we don’t give Vardy at least 2 clear breakaways.
True we are relegation rivals. But, context .......
