Whilst I don't think there's much we can do to influence a sale, perhaps protest is the minimum and actually, probably a must. Doing nothing just gives the impression we're fine with it and he just sails along, all nice and serene, empowered further by our apathy, a massive show of discontent probably won't achieve much other than at least piling the pressure (of sorts) on, it'll be highlighted in the media, hopefully, he won't like taking such a public coating every time we play at home and then you never know.Or if the fans consistently boycott the ground and any remaining fans continually chant 'Levy Out' with banners with the same message. I think that could at least speed up a sale.
I'm assuming you are including yourself when you speak of intelligent people.I just switch off on people who have an agenda, not just giving their opinions but to drive an agenda they insist you get onboard with, and if you dont its because you accept mediocracy. Its insulting to intelligent people.
Yup, its an up and down ride.Life of a Spurs fan
Absolutely. We need two leaders who put on a fight no matter what and are decent enough to start for us. Like Scotty Parker back then.As has been said over the decades, the lack of leaders has been an ongoing issue. The signing of three teenagers in the summer was clearly wrong when the squad was screaming for experienced streetwise pros. Not much can be done about that now as the current squad cannot give what they do not have as even the likes of Son, Romero and Madisson are clearly not natural leaders and are unable to galvanise the group. Usually in these situations, you need a more animated manager on the sideline who effectively takes on this role so if the team isn't on it from the off he lets them have it with both barrels to get an immediate response. Unfortunately Ange with his passive, hands in pocket stance doesn't exactly help and doesn't look like he'll be changing anytime soon. Guess we'll need to limp on till January to see if there in any evidence that the club wants to start addressing this glaring issue by bringing in one or two established senior pros.
Forget about all that mate. This is less to do with training instructions and everything to do with desire, heart and will to win. If I had a tenner for every time Sonny has picked up the mic to apologise after a performance, I would be a very rich man. Some players are just born with a different level of competitiveness mindset and right now our squad is bare of that profile of player. This makes the challenge of blooding the younger players even more difficult as they do not have a reference and the so called leaders that are meant to be inspiring them and setting the standards are barely able to galvanise themselves. It is a major issue and needs sorting asap!!!One detail from the post match interviews that gave me the shivers was Son saying he was concerned that the players were not doing what they are taught and then do in training.

Apologies if my response was a bit flippant and dismissive. The point I was trying to make is that it is a distraction to follow Sonny's arguments about the team not following instructions and structure. Regardless of instructions on tactics, shape, systems etc there is no excuse for pros to consistently not start games properly and wait till they get a slap in the face to wake up. Essentially I was saying what we are lacking is the part you cannot easily train/structure which is showing up with your game face every single match and being ready to fight from minute 1 to defend the badge. Our lot from the captain down are way too soft and flaky and you can train and instruct them all day long, it is not going to get better until we bring tougher types in.I don't need to forget about it ta .
Yes everything else you have irrelevantly added is true, but the point I made re Sonny is that it indicates that the team
is not listening to Ange, assuming what Son said is true and we've no reason to disbelieve it.
The team is not playing as per instruction which is not a good thing to hear.
