We’re playing against cynical, time-wasting, low block chancers and got done. It’s not the first time that’s happened over the years at home, but there was no excuse for the defending in the first half. When you’re looking to pick the lock in a game like this, you’d expect a manger to use a player like Maddison from the start, or at least at for the whole of the second half, but what ev’s. The ref was a sucker for all of their time-wasting antics, almost like he was either bias against us, or literally born yesterday. Either way, The inbreds got away with murder. Most of our players played OK, but I thought, but as others have said, we’re just out bullied. We lack leaders in this side big-time! Frustrating game and it felt like the longest train journey home.

All over X even O’Keefe. We know things won’t change. It’s been like this for years. I have a clue..the 11 players who started that game should be able to beat Ipswich.
Yeah, that really addresses what you said

And if you're going to make these judgements based on what you read on that shit pit, then comment on it there.

Just got back from watching that shower of shit. So predictable that we’d lose that before the international break. When the going gets tough, most of our players absolutely disappear. Not a single leader amongst them.

I'm generally fairly measured....but got to say, I'm seething.

We can be such a frustrating team to follow. Whenever things start looking bright we seem to stumble.

Chance to jump to third and we get done by a second winless team this season.

Ugggh not here to play the blame game but ffs.........annoyed.

Another naff performance, whatever you say about the quality of our squad and the transfer window we should be beating the likes of Ipswich and palace.

I don't think Ange is achieving anything like what he should with the players he has available.

5 losses out of 11 PL games is a dreadful record.

Levy is totally soulless and it wouldn’t
Surprise me at all if he is looking for a replacement. After what Lloris has said about him recently we all suspected what he is like and now we 100% know.

the real problem is he doesn’t care if he’s hated. How do you get someone like that out of your club?
You make every single game he attends a fucking scary, horrible experience for him and his family. It needs to be made crystal clear to him that he is no longer welcome at the lovely, shiny stadium he built only to stink out week after week. Only then, will he sell up. Its not his club. Its's ours.

Poch is the only one to have got us anywhere close to a title and become a seriously consistent unit.

But that wasn't down to the owners, it was more of a case of everything just coming together at once (Kane coming through, Alli exploding, Poch's system) and when it came to the point to push on and solidfy our status, they put the brakes on it.

Ange clearly needed more this summer. We essentially banked everything on the future, which Ange may not even see (how's that fair?)

We needed a LCB, LB and another attacker and we are seeing how it makes a difference when you play 2 games per week.

Any coach with big ambitions who comes here will be pissed off within a year or 18 months cause they'll soon realise the club are not willing to uncover every rock.

Our best hope is we get a coach who is more content under them but can do what Poch did, but it won't last either.

We need new owners, who back every coach and set them up with everything needed to be a serious team.

this.

That's just bollocks. Look how quickly Levy has replaced managers when we don't have on field success. Might do it again now, but I hope not. Every manager with balls has said it needs a few seasons. Stick with Ange and trust him to get it right. Today and Palce etc was on the players.
Five losses in eleven games.

It's not Palace and Ipswich mate.

Take the EL results out of the picture and we are as bad as Wolves, Leicester, Everton, Palace and Ipswich.

And we have possibly spent close to 200mil more than them.

I mean of all the things you could have a go at the entire club for today, you choose the only actual way we scored a goal today.
That corner was belted in at pace at a low trajectory and totally different from all the others.

The most damning comment I can make is that this defeat at home has generated no more emotion in me than the win against City did.

I’m just not bothered anymore.

I was watching the City game on a stream, missed the first 15mins and actually fell asleep in the second half.

Today I watched a bit on my phone here and there but was at the in-laws with the whole family so didn’t pay much attention.

Spurs have increasingly fallen down the list of priorities for me over the years. Part of that is growing up and having a family and bigger concerns.

But a huge part of it is that this is where Levy has left me as a fan. Indifferent. Unemotional. Why care about results, performances and even individual goals when you know full well that the club will never win anything again with him in charge? He’s rendered the whole act of supporting a football club - standing together during the hard times, and celebrating success - meaningless. It’s never going to be anything but 4th-10th placed mediocrity.

So why care at all? Literally none of it matters anymore.
Totally agree, I’ve got a very passionate and competitive 9 year old who has been extremely critical of us over the last few seasons.
Tonight he broke and said he might start supporting another team after seeing the result.
when he said Citeh we all laughed and reminded him that they’ve lost four on the trot and he shut up, if I’ve had to endure it for so long he can as well!
The only difference being when I was his age we’d actually win stuff so I get it must be really hard for the kids these days to carry on supporting us!

Our defence is laughable. Romero in the worst form of his career, Dragusin and Porro talking about moves to Madrid and Udogie forced into every game without any competition. We ain’t much at the back without Van De Ven’s recovery pace and cannot keep a clean sheet no matter who we play.

The ref was a sucker for all of their time-wasting antics, almost like he was either bias against us, or literally born yesterday.
I thought the ref did a decent job tbh, they did time waste but not enough to step over the line and the ref seemed to warn the keeper about it at one point. Cant put that result on the officials I'm afraid.
My trick is not to let Spurs spoil my weekend ever again, I learned some years ago otherwise it'll be miserable over something I cant control. Even when its a fixture and I think we should be sure of 3 points here, however I realize we have the propensity to hand it to the opposition and I also reflect on that before the match.
My other take, if 'this is the way we play' then we have to learn to defend and week in week out we fail there.
