On my way back from the game, good performance overall and Huddersfield really are turd. Got a bit sloppy midway through the second half, a few players switched off, but glad we got the two late goals.

Standout performances I'd say we're KWP, foyth, sissoko and of course Moura. nice to see wanyama play well too.

Did you manage to make any new friends at the game? Anyone up for a pint with you? ?

With a cm of Wanyama and sissoko with someone like eriksen or Alli playing just ahead of them, it would be a solid CM! Add Winks and Dier for rotation also and thats a good squad there

With Wanyama at about 40% of what he was. Winks always getting injuries and Dier struggling as well it’s a shocking CM at the moment
One that needs serious CPR in the Summer

At some point in the recent past, most of us thought that Wanyama was a goner. Poch / the medical staff have somehow brought him back from the dead. He may not be at his best but at least it’s a start of his recovery. Just be glad that he’s now available for us, especially with the number of injuries piling up in the squad at the business end of the season.

Overall a good win and a solid, professional performance from the players today.

One of the most comfortable games we’ve had all season

My main hope is that he can stay fit and look good enough for us to move him on in the summer for decent money. As much as i like him we need someone less injury prone.

I think that’s the plan of the club too. Get him (reasonably) fit so that he can play some games for us to advertise him to potential clubs that may have an interest in him in the summer.

How on earth do people expect him to be 'at his best' after the time he's had? For a player who's been out for months and months I think he did extremely well today. He won his tackles, passed accurately, covered plenty of ground and scored a goal. What else was he doing when he was 'at his best'? People keep saying 'there's a long way to go', whatever that means. He put in a shift for 90 minutes today and although it was a pretty easy run out, he didn't look the least bit out of place. What else do people expect? For a player who was supposedly headed for the scrap heap I thought he was pretty impressive and he did his job efficiently and effectively.

My post was not about expecting him to be at his best. Of course, after a long layoff due to injuries, it’s to be expected that it will take a while for him to get back to his best, if even possible.

My point was that we should be grateful that he’s now available for games .

My last 6 games watching Spurs live:

Tottenham 17 - Opponents 2

Huddersfield
Dortmund X2
Chelsea
Arsenal
Real Madrid

My record before that isn’t bad either. 40-odd games over the years and I’ve only seen us lose twice.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I deserve a season ticket and, quite frankly, I don’t think I should I have to pay.

I wasn't having a go at you. I just wonder what he's supposed to do better than he did today to be 'at his best'. I suppose he needs to string a few games together but he's just got a good 90 minutes under his belt.
