And thats when 'this is the way we play' gets me frustrated. Its just my opinion in agreement with Hoddle who said 'its risk against reward' (and I cant remember exactly how he worded it but something like)- and when the risks arent getting any rewards you might want to consider changing the way you do things. The risks were perpetually putting us in danger, not just now and again but constantly and I cant understand how you are 'managing' that by just letting it happen over and over.There’s still too many players especially with our rotated squad who are not comfortable enough on the ball for how Postecoglou wants to play.
He commented how its not about completely changing your philosophy, just choosing when to stick to it which may be later in the game when the opponent tires.
