No VDV, Romero, Werner, Odobert, Richy or Moore. Plus no Spence obviously.

We either go strong and risk running the likes of Solanke, Johnson and the returning Son into the ground or we go super young with some of the U18 lads.

I can’t see us starting 17/18 Year olds for their debut at Galatasary, I think our hands are tied and we go pretty strong. Midfield will be completely changed imo.

I think we will see the usual rotation that we’ve seen in the Europa League so far this season. Fully expect to see Gray at Right back, and Bergvall in midfield. We might even see Moor get another start.
Udogie likely to be rested I would imagine so Porro at RB and Gray at LB.

Wow well that's the plan out the window.. Johnson and Son surely can't play more than 60

Clearly we should start Lankshear at the very least to give Solanke a rest. Given the injuries we need to protect him?

Have to say that is a complete bummer, wanted out front three fresh for Sunday.

Could play Maddison from the left I guess.

Put Bentancur at CAM

Squad seems a couple short. Reckon Moore must have been a late withdrawal, otherwise Ajayi would presumably have travelled rather than playing most of the 90 yesterday.

While Casanova put in a solid 60 minute shift for the U21s, Dorrington and Oluessi were not even in the squad, so there may be an intention for them to play some part tomorrow.

Werner, Richarlison, Moore and Odobert all being injured/ill is just very unfortunate. Ideally we’d be able to rotate the front 3 for this one to take advantage of our 100% start, but so be it. We can still rotate 4 or 5 from the weekend so that we’re not running on fumes in midfield and defence vs Ipswich on Sunday.

He's got a virus

I think we will have a few players back for Ipswich

I know that the game is in Turkey but I bloody hate these 5:45pm kick-off times when you have a bunch of kids expecting dinner / help with their homework / lifts to training etc etc

Yes but Bergvall, Gray and Lankshear will just have to put down their phones, stop moaning, eat their pasta and focus on the match!

They have some good players, and this is a tough place to go. It’ll be really interesting to see how our defence manages Osimhen.

I think that team is about right. Spence must be disappointed not to be available though.
